Resort Fees... This is not a resort but a casinoPosted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: The room was very nice though there wasn't a coffee machine. The people I met were quite nice.
Cons: Remove resort fee. I would never go there again or recommend it due to that.
Location: Not sure what to say. I'm a tourist and spent most of my time at Red Rocj Canyon. I
Getting a great deal is not a great deal when they charge you an extra $15US a night as a 'resort' fee. Free long distance calls mean nothing when you are from Canada. I enjoyed the pool for 30 min out of 3 nights. And only getting basic wifi for that 'resort' fee is a joke. I couldn't even Skype. / FaceTime my husband unless I bought the upgrade. I was aware that I might incur the resort fee but remained hopeful it they were included in my original payment. I was wrong and quite disappointed

Clean, quiet, comfortable room; no surprises. Good selection of restaurants, etc. Not sure what the area is like, but the hotel offers everything you need for short stay.

Nice room, great staff, delicious food.Posted Mar 16, 2015
Location: A little hard to find because of map directions.
Texas Station is not on strip, but it has it's own cinema, bowling (very nice) and gambling. The restaurants were good and staff excellent. We will be back.

Better than expectedPosted Mar 15, 2015
Pros: Clean and variety of food on the property
Cons: it does appear a little dated
Location: it's not on the strip, but perfect for my purposes on this trip
We weren't in Las Vegas to gamble or play on the strip, so the Texas Station did just fine. The rooms were clean, there was security at the entrance to the rooms from the casino, and there was a nice mix of available food on the property. If it helps, I wouldn't be afraid to bring my wife here if we do a similar trip. BTW, I have no complains about the casino itself, I did have some time and didn't have any problems finding games to play.

Texas Station visitPosted Mar 11, 2015
Hotel has a little of everything with great range of restaurants, gambling, starbucks, and movie theatre. Neighborhood and clientele very blue collar, but always felt safe. Might not be brand new, but it actually kind of fits with the old west motif. In the end, you can't beat the price.

Great location in north Las VegasPosted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, a small gym within the casino and security by hotel elevators to check before allowing people to use elevators.
Cons: The non-smoking section for gambling was pretty small.
Location: Great location in North Las Vegas with lots of restaurants nearby.
Friendly helpful staff. Great choices in restaurants within the casino. Room very clean.

Nice if you want something off of the StripPosted Mar 3, 2015
If you're going to Las Vegas and just need a decent hotel with a few comforts and relaxation this is the place to stay. I got a great rate, easy hotel parking and friendly staff. I would definitely stay again. Btw, it is a casino so there are some slot machines if the mood strikes.
