Cute historic hotel with great common areas.

Posted Jul 31, 2015
We had a good stay and enjoyed the unique setting and great location. The only issue was that we had a first floor room and the noise of people walking above was very loud in the morning. I should have worn earplugs. Otherwise it was lovely and a great value.

Close to the beach

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: Close to beach, no children, intimate setting.
Cons: Include a continental breakfast, solve the annoying beeping coming from the timeshare.
Location: Seaside Beach, The Promenade and turn around, Shopping, bike rental shop.
This was a very nice Inn with a homey feel. Room was on the small side and because it was a historic (old) house as opposed to a "normal" hotel you felt like you had to tiptoe in and out of your room as not to disturb the other guests with the creaking and moaning of the floorboards. This is a historic home so the furniture was antique which was nice. Bed was only full size and fairly comfortable. There was however an annoying beeping sound you could hear throughout the night coming form the adjacent time share apartments. Couldn't figure out the exact source but it would be a high pitched beeping that came and went all night. There is a nice gas fire pit out front for guests to enjoy and it was fun meeting people from all over the world. Beach is about half a block away with all the tourist shops a block or so away. Breakfast was NOT included which would have made this stay even better. Overall, aside from the tiptoeing and annoying beeping this was a very pleasant Inn.

Historic house near the ocean

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: Historic building
Cons: Have a nice breakfast included. None was available
Location: Noise & unattractive last multistory timeshare next door
Nice house & room but noisy environment. It was hot so we had to keep the window open & lots of yelling outside.

Centrally located.

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Location and proximity to beach, stores all walking distance.
Cons: Seating in room and TV screen (19" computer screen is not enough). Although we were not there for TV watching at night it's nice to catch up on news.
Location: Family oriented town, great for kids. Adults have plenty to do as well. Walked be beach every day...... Beautiful
Our stay was pleasant. Inn is centrally located and everything is walking distance. Room was very clean, but a little dark (all stained wood). Bathroom was very clean. TV is a 19 " computer screen and only one sitting chair in the room. We were not there for TV but could use an upgrade. I found staff a little cold, except for one nice lady. All in all would go backAnd would recommend.
