Nice Hotel Close to Water and EatsPosted May 20, 2015
Pros: Clean and roomy and quiet - very comfortable with nice ammenities and great location.
Cons: Free maps would be nice.
Location: Close to nice restaurants and nice view of water and bridge. Close to the Astoria Column which is a must see when in Astoria.
I haven't been in a Holiday Inn for a long time and I am glad to see they have such a nice product. The room was one of the best I have had in many years and this includes many other brands. The room was very spacious and very clean with everything in perfect working order. It was also quiet meaning no noise could be heard from neighbors! Bathroom was completely separate from bedroom area so my wife getting ready in the morning did not bother me! The locations is fantastic - nice view of water and bridge and close to great restaurants and not far from the Astoria Column. The breakfast was much better than average and there was plenty of space to spread out and enjoy a meal without fighting for a place to sit.

Perfect location. Simple, clean hotel. They deliver just what the promise. Great views of the river and the giant freighters passing under the bridge. Close to riverfront boardwalk.

We have stayed at the hotel several times. We love usual room, which has a view of the Columbia River & Bridge, fireplace and king size bed! The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is our go to Astoria Hotel!

Lovely viewPosted Feb 25, 2015
Cons: Light blocking drapes would help.
Clean, modern hotel with comfy bed and room. View of the river and sunset/sunrise was outstanding. The hotel is exactly under the Astoria bridge and, while an impressive site, you can hear the bridge traffic all night. Best free breakfast I have ever had at a hotel/motel and I travel frequently. The boardwalk along the river is right behind the hotel, lighted at night, and great. Staff were competent, professional and available. We had a very nice stay and will return. Eat at the Silver Salmon restaurant while here.

clean, quiet, comfortablePosted Feb 18, 2015 on Hotels.com
Our two nights were comfortable and quiet - can't ask for more. We had a view of the water which was beautiful and relaxing. The front desk was quick in responding to our request for a rollaway bed and an extra blanket. The complimentary breakfast had plenty of hot and cold selections to choose from. Kids loved playing in the pool each night. Hotel is also easy to get to with plenty of parking. We'll stay at this hotel again on our next trip to beautiful Astoria.

Nice getaway, clean comfortable room, nice view.Posted Jan 4, 2015 on Hotels.com
This was a 1 day getaway from the kids for my wife and I. Very nice hotel. We were able to check in 1 hour early. The room was spacious and nice with a great river view. Staff was friendly. Bed was big and comfy, there was a couch, everything was clean and nice. Free breakfast in the morning was much better than expected. All in all, a great stay and I would easily recommend this hotel.
