Nice hotel by the riverPosted Oct 13, 2013
We had a very nice stay here. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The hotel has a well maintained backyard right by the river, very peaceful. Room is comfortable, we have no issues. There is plenty of food at the breakfast, although not particularly tasty. We went to breakfast at about 8:45, and there are still plenty of food. The breakfast area is also roomy. There are also bicycles available to use on the trail. We just regret that we didn't know about that until we checked out. Overall, an excellent stay at the hotel.

Right Under the BridgePosted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was huge with a large king size bed in one area and a double in another area with a seating area.
Cons: The noise level from the bridge was too much sometimes. There is not much they can do but be warned. It did not keep us awake at night.
Location: The Columbia River Maritime Museum is a must see. The Astoria Column should be visited on a clear day. The River Walk is a great place to stroll.
If you want to stay on the shore, this is the place for you. You are right under the Bridge crossing the Columbia River. This can be noisy. The hotel has easy access to all you would want to see in Astoria. The River walk is right out the back door. The trolley also runs by the hotel.

No Complaints Whatsoever!Posted Aug 17, 2013
My standards are high and I was not disappointed. The room was beautiful and spacious with a gorgeous view of the river. Everything was very clean! We have stayed in 5 star hotels that weren't this nice or offered these amenities. The breakfast was awesome! The pool and fitness room...very nice! I have no complaints whatsoever.

Located on the Columbia River Waterfront, Holiday Inn Express & Suites gave us an incredible view from our room, and made it very convenient to get to the Oregon Maritime Museum and the Bridgewater Bistro, which was a wonderful place to have dinner. Large room, very clean, large comfortable bed, and a spectacular view, what more could you ask for?
