King size bed would have been preferred.Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: very central location
Location: Astoria is a beautiful place to visit. however, above average culinary options are very limited, at least on a sunday night.
Hotel is very centrally located. Staff are pleasant, and rooms clean.

Charming HotelPosted Apr 4, 2015
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Our check in was fast and the woman was very friendly. The hotel is older and located right downtown. Very close to everything. We walked to the Flavel House, the cinema and lots of restaurants. The room itself is kind of small. That is a non issue for us but some people might not like it. The bathroom was clean and a nice standing walk in shower. Also heated floor tiles were nice. The room had a microwave and a fridge which was nice because we got delicious pizza from Voodoo pizza one night and had leftovers. The rooftop is a cool space you can go up to. There are lounge chairs and a fire pit. They do allow you to take up cocktails which is nice because it's a great view of Astoria. We didn't have breakfast the first morning and I wish we would have. I was quite impressed by their breakfast spread. There was an egg scramble, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, fruit, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, juice, coffee. I also enjoyed that this hotel was quiet. When we got there we tried to see if we could move to a room with a fireplace but unknown to us it was spring break and they were at capacity. Despite that I would have thought we were the only guest in the hotel. We only saw or heard people when we were in the elevator with them. It also has a later checkout at noon that I really appreciated. I enjoyed this hotel and will stay here again on future trips.

Renovated old 1920s hotel in downtown AstoriaPosted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Old hotel updated to modern standards.
Location: Downtown Astoria with lots of shops nearby. 15 minutes from Lewis and Clark's Fort Clatsop park.
Nicely updated 1920s hotel in the heart of DT Astoria. Nice staff. Bed very comfy. Nice and roomy bathrooms with large shower. In room air conditioning. Breakfast served with price of room. Multi-story with elevators.

Great hotel great locationPosted Mar 10, 2015
Very helpful staff. Room was small but comfortable and had lots of character. Large bathroom included a spa tub. Roof top deck had great views. Included breakfast was excellent. Lots of great restaurants and things to do close by. Price was less than the chain motel we stayed at last time we were in Astoria...no reason to stay anywhere but the Elliot we will be back!
