Convenient location on the main street.Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: It was within walking distance of a private event that I was attending.
Cons: Written instructions on how to operate the TV.
The check-in process went well. Receptionist was pleasant. That was the only inter-action I had with any staff. No phone in the room so in the evening I was unable to call the front desk for instructions on The TV operation. (3 separate remotes). Some written instructions would have helped.. I departed at 9am and had to used the key-drop box as there was no staff in the office.

Good choicePosted Jun 5, 2014
Location: Walking distance to the famous Haystack Rock. Walking distance to the center of town where there are tons of good eating places and cute shops.
A very comfortable and pleasant studio/apartment like with all amenities: fridge, toaste, micro, utensils etc... Just remember to ask for a hair dryer before 9pm when the reception closes until 9 am the following morning. or bring your own.

Not a good place to sleepPosted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: It is located within walking distance to the beach.
Cons: Room #6 desperately needs curtains, and desperately needs something to block the skylight, there is just no possible way to sleep in there otherwise.
This room was pretty expensive, even for the area, and the time of year. It was the "jacuzzi" room, best one available I was told. OK, so with the price came some expectations. So we arrived later in the evening, threw our stuff in the room, and went out for dinner. When we got back we didn't notice the skylight in the ceiling of the bedroom, however; first, the "jacuzzi" is a jet bathtub, only big enough for a single person at a time, so you need to know that if your staying there for some kind of romantic thing. Unless you are both around 100 pounds, your not gonna fit. Second... and this is a big one... there is a giant, unblockable, skylight in the middle of the room, which is also the bedroom, if that's not bad enough, the windows all have those crappy blinds on them, you know, the ones that let all the light in. So, the combination of the two meant that at 5:30AM, I was literally blinded by the amount of light streaming into the room. It was so bright that not only was I jolted out of bed, but it literally gave me a head ache. I had to put my sunglasses on!! Unless you are one of those travelers that rises with the sun (5am), you will have trouble sleeping in number 6. Maybe the other rooms don't have the same problem.

Very nice. Staff very helpful and friendly.Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: It was well situated. Close to town and beaches. Very clean and comfy. Well decorated.
Location: As above.
The cottage was clean and well cared for. We had everything we needed. Just a few steps to the beach and the town. The only set back was that the room was rather small, though it was the only room vacant when we booked. Nice fireplace for those chilly mornings and evenings. Good kitchen with all you could need. Housekeeping/Reception desk where awesome.

Comfortable cottagePosted May 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
Our cottage was very comfortable with a nice sitting area and convenient kitchenette. The only negative was the terrible TV reception. For this this was not a factor as we really did not want to spend time watching television anyway. Beach access was across the street.

Nice Hotel, two blocks to the beachPosted May 21, 2014
Pros: Easy to find, and fairly close to the beach.
Cons: Ice should have been provided. Air conditioning would have been nice
Location: Cannon Beach seemed like a place where there was little parking near the beach. We have no need to return to this town.
At first we were given a key to our room that didn't work. Then we found the ice machine did not work, but we could go a block and a half down the street and get ice at another hotel. They should have either fixed the ice machine, or provide a cooler with ice for customers. There was no air conditioning.

Good location with comfort IssuesPosted May 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Everything else was good; however, I would not be able to return because we did not sleep well in the bed. The staff was very nice.

Perfect for a short stay but would upgrade to a bigger room for more than a couple days. Very quaint overall.
