We recently stayed at the Park Plaza in Park City for a weekend getaway before our baby arrives (due in December). The price was competitive (minus the resort fee add-ons) and we needed a full kitchen, so this fit our needs.
The room was convenient, we enjoyed the kitchen, fireplace and comfortable bed. The swimming area was also very nice.
We were somewhat disappointed in the thin and poorly insulated walls and doors (you could hear everything outside of your room), as well as the cheap fixtures, etc. (TP holder was placed just above the garbage and was so loose, a roll could easily drop right into the waste bin).
I would say that the hotel is marketed better than it delivers. Our room was not remodeled and updated like those in the promotional photos, for example.
It wasn't that it was particularly bad, I guess I just expected it to be nicer than it was, based on favorable reviews from other travel sites, the cost of a room during the high season (we stayed off-season so it was more economical), and the promotional photos of the property.
