Pleasent stayPosted Aug 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Vert pleasent stay. Checked in late at night and left early next day but was a nice comfortable place to stop and get some rest. The service was excellent and staff was very polite. Had a nice breakfast in the morning and good sized pool to jump into. Room was very clean and affordable. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Broke hot tubPosted Aug 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The only reason we chose this hotel was after driving for 15 hours we liked the idea of being able to soak in a hot tub for a little bit. When we arrived we found out the hot tub was broke.

Hotel was okay. Staff seemed a bit disengaged and aloof, but this seemed true of the restaurant staff and store attendants we encountered in other establishments in this town, so may be the local employee climate and not the hotel culture. Had a security door at hotel that was not locked. Contacted front desk about this and when we checked the door later that night and the next morning it was still not secured. Breakfast was okay.

Pros: the waffles for breakfast
Cons: air out the room with something to reduce the smoke smell
the room smelled like smoke even though it was supposed to be non smooking.

Conveniently close to I-80Posted Jun 25, 2013
Pros: Convenience to I-80; price
Location: Close to I-80 and easy drive into town, plenty of restaurant choices nearby. Right next to Veterans Memorial and Cody Park up the road.
Clean, quiet, convenient, easily accessible to I-80 travel; what you'd expect from this type of hotel and price point. Beds comfy but pillows are half-normal size. No elevator; you climb lobby stairs to your room. Rooms a little dated but clean and functioning and has all amenities you need for overnight rest when traveling across state or visiting relatives in town, as we were. A/C is window-unit and clanky/noisy when circulating on and running; could use some WD40 or a tune-up! Overall very quiet hotel. Didn't partake in complimentary breakfast other than quick grab-and-go coffee and whole fruit, but area appeared well-stocked and clean. Would stay here again.

Cons: no parking and early housekeeping
It is a good hotel if you're just staying a nite or need a quick room. The people were nice and the room was nice, but there was not near enough parking! We had a room in the back and on the second floor, we had to park in front of the building and walk across the parking lot, around the building, and up the stairs! The pillows are nice, but the size of throw pillows...4 was not enough for 2 people, standard size pillows would have been great. Our do not disturb sign apparentlly fell out of the card slot and at 915 we get a knock on the door for house keeping... I thought maybe we didn't put it out, but when we opened the door to leave, there it was on the floor right in front of the door... Other than that this hotel is typical of any other interstate hotel.
