“Very Nice”

I was very happy with everything regarding our stay. The room was clean (bathroom was a little outdated, but still clean), the staff was very friendly, and the room was nice. I have no complaints. We go to North Platte every year, and will definitely stay here again.

For what it was, the motor lodge was very clean, had a nice pool open late for the kids, and a very adequate breakfast bar.

If I were traveling alone I would feel safe enough and the hotel sits a little off from the road so its not too loud. Thats about the best points. The hotel is older and shows it. The pool area is tiny and poorly lit. I had to get Febreeze for the room because of the sour pee smell altho the room appeared clean. The breakfast was not worth the walk to the lobby. For one short night it was do-able and may even be better than some but would probably try elsewhere next time.

Pool was disgusting--needed filtered or something. Room was OK. Front desk couldn't find my reservation at first. Breakfast was ok, not great.

The property is well kept. The room was clean but needed TLC. Pool area not up to par, deck area soiled and water cloudy, deck slick and area not cleaned frequently. Cont. Bkfst ok but area inadequate for number of guests. A good overnighter if that's all you want.

It was ok for an older Hotel. I wanted a bargin and that is what I got. I am satified.

The hotel is very dated. The pool in particular needs to be completely ripped out and renovated as well as the rooms. Unfortunately, Howard Johnson was a great hotel at one time, but they have not upgraded anything and really need to!

Bathroom was grungy and pool water was murky.

“Terrible Motel”

The bathroom was terrible, some mold, shower head leaked, bathroom overall was not fit for a shower. Room was okay but I wouldn't stay there again. The breakfast was terrible, not much to choose from and the donuts we did choose were day old at best. Hard as a rock, Continental Breakfast, I don't think so....it was terrible. The rate I was charged wasn't worth it, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone...
