just okay...Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Breakfast at Penny's Diner was great.
Cons: Responsiveness/friendliness of front desk staff.
After driving in the car for hours when we arrived at the hotel we had to wait 10 minutes for the woman at the front desk to get off the phone. She had her back to us the entire 10 minutes and did not even acknowledge we were at the counter. Then she could not find our reservations and did not apologize for the long wait. Our room was okay. You get what you pay for with this hotel. There was no end table on one side of the bed and the room was hot when we entered (the air conditioner turns on via a motion sensor), so it did cool down after we were in there for a while. One good thing was the free breakfast at Penny's Diner.

Very nice hotel with a fantastic breakfast to bootPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Penny's Diner
Cons: Security door could lock.
Location: Tremendous veteran's memorial and lake with very good fishing right across I-80. Also, the huge Cody Trading Post is steps away and a real hoot.
Friendly staff, very nice room, fridge worked, but could have been colder. Also, security door never locked. Breakfast at Penny's Diner was possibly the best breakfast my wife and I have ever tasted, and in huge portions. Overall, in spite of a couple of shortcomings, this is a great place to stay along I-80.

Hidden GemPosted Jun 19, 2014
Comfortable bed and nice setting. Nice pot to stop if traveling from Minnesota to Denver. Breakfast was spectacular; the hotel has a business relationship with a "walk across the parking lot" restaurant. So, breakfast is cooked to order with many options.

Good enough for a one night stay.Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Free breakfast.
Cons: Security and appearance of front door.
Location: Good location.
Everything seemed to be ok until we checked out. I am fairly sure I had some gas siphoned from my vehicle in the night.

Noisy hotelPosted Jun 8, 2014
We stayed here to break a long journey. On arrival the check in staff were ok. However, one room was ready but the other wasn't. The bed hadn't been made or stocked with towels. My son had to wait 20 minutes for someone to come and make the room ready for him at 1030 pm. We had a very noisy family above us whose children were running around and jumping off beds until well after 11 pm and were up again at 6 am. The sound insulation was terrible. The receptionist the next morning asked how we'd slept and when we said that noise travelled easily we were told "what do you expect when you stay in a hotel?" Breakfast was provided in a diner next door and it was excellent. By far the best part of our stay.
