Excellent Location and View of Vancouver

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: location and views
Location: Quay Market, shopping both available downtown Vancouver and in North Vancouver and West Vancouver shopping malls.
We recently visited with our young children for an over weekend trip to Vancouver, we were looking for something outside of downtown where we usually stay, and we were pleasantly surprised with our choice to stay at the Pinnacle. The sea-bus was within meters from the hotel's front door, along with the Quay market for fresh vegetables and fruits. The staff were accommodating and pleasant. We spent the extra money for 2 nights and a harbor view overlooking downtown Vancouver which is always beautiful. Unfortunately, we decided to extend our stay for 4 nights and the hotel was booked solid and we had to make other arrangements which was disappointing. Overall, EXCELLENT!

City View

Posted Mar 5, 2015
Pros: View of the city and cheap parking.
Location: Some good restaurants nearby and the Capilano Suspension bridge is worth checking out.
Stayed 2 nights, Parking was reasonably priced compared to staying downtown and had a nice view of the city. If you're travelling into the city it may take awhile if you leave during rush hour (45-60 minutes) non rush hour takes (15-20 minutes). The area is semi-industrial but mixed with a hip restaurant and bar scene. The wireless internet was good and free, fairly modern decor.

Great Location & Amenities

Posted Mar 4, 2015
With Sky Train, this hotel is 45 transit minutes from the airport. Great views. Lonsdale Quay has great shopping - local goods, yummy food - breakfast, lunch & dinner - even small craft brewery; but closes at 7pm.

Nice hotel in North Vancouver

Posted Feb 26, 2015
Pros: I liked the location near the water, the room was really nice, and its proximity to the Quay Market.
Cons: It was difficult to find the hotel entrance. At the entrance, you have to pull your luggage up ~5 steps. The water in the swimming pool was cold.
Location: I like the North Vancouver neighborhood. It was nice to be near the waterfront and the Quay Market.
I liked this hotel. The room was really nice and it was great to be a short walk from the waterfront and the Quay Market.

Nice hotel.

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: In the middle of everything. Close enough to downtown, without the traffic and the noise.
Cons: Signage and direction to the front entrance.
Location: A walk to the water front and look back to the Vancouver skyline.
The entrance is hard to find. The view is blocked by a construction crane.

Great hotel next to the harbor, wonderful view.

Loved our room on the waterside of the hotel, nice little balcony to enjoy the view of Vancouver. The night skyline of Vancouver is stunning. The restaurants at the hotel were very tasty, had a cocktail at the hotel, bartender was fantastic. The staff were all pleasant and helpful with all of our questions. Vancouver traffic in and out of the city does need to be thought about in your travel time. Wonderful experience!
