Beautiful scenery and away from it allPosted Nov 18, 2013
Lovely hospitality, lovely room, would recommend that a mini fridge was put in the room. Great full english breakfast and selection of cereal and fruit. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Well presented B&B hidden in the Welsh countrysidePosted Sep 22, 2013
Cons: Addition of Wi Fi
Location: Located just off A470 access to the whole area is easy by car. The main roads in the area are in better shape than equivalent A roads in the England
The location can be approached from 2 directions along a small track. If your approach is from the A470 the sign for the hotel is visible. Unfortunately I came from the other direction and missed it completely. Once located, the couple, Peter and Ann , met us and showed us around the rooms etc. There is a very spacious communal lounge area and the rooms have a basic SKY package for entertainment as well as monitors with CD/DVD capability. Unfortunately no Wi Fi at present. The general standard of decor is very high. Ann prepared photocopied sheets of local walks and the general area. She also advised of sights worth seeing, places to eat etc. All in all a good experience.

Away from town, close to a babbling streamPosted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: Quiet yet close to walking, town and convenient to Snowdonia region
Cons: One teeny, tiny improvement would be bed covers. I found them too warm.
We spent 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed using Pandy Isaf as a base for exploring Snowdonia. Ann and Peter were very helpful with suggestions and directions. The rooms are clean and quietly elegant. Falling asleep, and waking up to the lovely sound of water splashing over rocks was a real treat. Trust your sat nav to get you right to the turn that takes you over a (serious) cattle grid; a caravan site is at the bottom on the left and on the right is PI. Altogether a very enjoyable stay.

Can I stay forever?Posted Aug 28, 2013
What a wonderful little place! We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived & were given great advice about the area. Such a peaceful & beautiful spot to be located, wonderful to come back to after a busy day. Sad to have not spent more time there!

A delightful country B&B.Posted Aug 16, 2013
Beautifully quiet, scenic, if somewhat isolated location, comfortable rooms and we had an excellent breakfast. The owners prepared a nicely cooked evening meal as we could not be bothered to make the trek out to eat. Beware the Expedia map is less than helpful as the house is NOT in the village. Best to get directions from the B&B's own website. In all highly recommended.

Bed and Breakfast as it should bePosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Wonderful location that is ideal for relaxing or exploring the local area. The facilities are top notch and very comfortable. Ann and Peter are the perfect hosts and Ann being a former restauranter is a superb cook. You will definitely enjoy your breakfast whatever you choose to start your day. This is definitely how bed and breakfast should be.

Idyllic location with superb guest accommodationPosted Jul 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
A warm and friendly welcome at this gorgeous cottage with annex for guest accomodation, with sumptuous comfy bed and a shower which was just the ticket after an 18 mile bike ride to Barmouth down the Mawddach trail! With two Jays welcoming us with a squawk, and with the "Torrent Walk" a 2 minute hop from the rooms, you are in proper Welsh countryside. Hearty and filling breakfast if needed (delicious with 2 eggs!) and a choice of juices/fruit/muesli for the smaller appetite. Comfy & large conservatory-style guest lounge with leather sofas leading out on to terrace with river at the side. Would not hesitate to stay again but for longer next time....
