Great location.Would go again.Posted Nov 7, 2013
Pros: Mostly everything.
Cons: temperature control in room could be better, and the lift was rather small for the size of the hotel.
Location: Excellent location for everything in llandudno.
Fine hotel.Ideal for beach/pier and shops/bars and restaurants. My only real complaint was our room was too hot overnight despite having the fan/air conditioner on all night.

very small room, lots of wasted space in this room, needs updating, breakfast was ok but I felt it would have been better if you were able to order at the table found that the plates were hot but the food was not.at the buffet, got the feeling that some of the staff got on very well others were left out one was always chewing gum ,was disappointed with the star rating

Our short stay experiencePosted Aug 14, 2013
The hotel was very nice and the room was spotless. We were disappointed with two things though. There was no outside seating area by the bar and as the weather was lovely (unusually!) we wanted to be able to sit out in the evening, which meant that we went to another hotel to do so. Breakfast was advertised from 7.30am. As we wanted the full day out we went down at 7.30, then had to wait for 20 minutes whilst staff put hot plate food out. This happened on both days we were there. It is no good saying breakfast from 7.30am if that means you can just go into the dining room at 7.30 but then have to wait whilst staff prepare breakfast.

Beautiful hotel close with outstanding service.Posted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: The polite and helpful service, the relaxed atmosphere and the high standards of decoration and cleanliness.
Location: Easy access by road. Things to do: sea swimming, speed boat rides, the Great Orme visit by tram or cable car, the promenade and pier walk, shops.
From the minute we arrived the staff couldn't be helpful enough: nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless and well set out. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and served. The calm music played throughout the hotel created a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. I had taken my mum to The St George's Hotel because she has had health problems since Christmas and I wanted her to have a wonderful, relaxing time. She certainly did. Her comment as we left was that the hotel was fit for the queen. If possible, we shall certainly return next year.
