Beautiful locationPosted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: It had friendly staff and it was exactly what I expected. Nothing 5 start but very comfortable
Cons: Nothing really
Location: Swallow falls is located opposite the hotel. Nice walks in the local area, Betws-y-coed is 2 miles down A5 which has nice pubs and places of interest
We spent a fantastic 3 days at the swallow Falls Hotel. The location is wonderful 2 miles outside Betws-y-coed. Local walks around lakes with mountain views were fabulous helped by some very sunny weather. I would recommend this location to anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

Great stay, lovely rooms, great service, very nice staff, only one let down, why can you not have the same menu in the restaurant,as you have in the Taven,Bar Ect, as your choice is limited in the restaurant, that was the only down point to the evening, but great every thing else, will be going back very soon

Hotel is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding wilderness. It's a bit of a hike from Betws-y-coed so make sure you check bus schedules beforehand as the Sherpa bus runs rather infrequently. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is far enough from town to give you a sense of seclusion, but also located on the main road, allowing easy access to Snowdon, Betws, and other hiking trails (not to mention Swallow Falls which is right across the street), provided again that you consult bus schedules beforehand. Loved my stay and hope to return soon!

H.S.O.C owners club meetingPosted Feb 15, 2014
Pros: Lovely comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated room, plenty of hot water and hot drinks facilities in room.
Cons: Nothing springs to mind .
Location: Lovely location, Swallow falls across the road and close to areas for outdoor pursuits such as walking, canoeing etc
Stayed Friday 7th February for 1 night to meet other members of the Hedingham Sidecar Owners Club prior to the Dragon Motorcycle Rally on Saturday 8th February. Had a great night and a lovely meal. Service brilliant from receptionist on arrival and bar and restaurant staff who were all very friendly and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. One of the most important factors to us was a very warm welcome to bikers.
