“will go back again to sample further improvements”
The ground floor area of the Lilly resturant with rooms was very tasteful incorporating the local theme of Alice in Wonderland in fact the statue of the white rabbit is about about 100 metres away and the white rabbit weather vane is front of the Lilly resturant with rooms. We had a fantastic room with a full sea view for a nice relaxing short break we would highly recomend it!
“Wonderful Time”
Apart from a misunderstanding caused by expedia re the actual type of room booked we had a great time with hot sunny weather. Will return in the Autumn.

Although we had booked a standard room we were given an upgrade to a sea view. After unpacking discovered no hot water in shower. Moved to another room were there was a bath with hand held shower but no screens ! Quality of breakfast and friendliness of staff made up for this disappointment and we look forward to another visit when the building work is complete.
“Short stay at The Lilly Restaurant”
The rooms are being refurbished and upgraded at the moment but we still really enjoyed our short stay (3 nights ). The staff are good and the chef is excellent, the meals in the restaurant are superb. The location is great, being on the 'quiet' side of town and is a great base to go sightseeing from.
