A tourist's home away from homePosted Jul 23, 2014
Centrally positioned bed & breakfast suitable for an adventure seeking tourist. I came out of Wales more informed & better placed to tell the story of the land and her hospitable people. A life time experience for me & family.

a reasonably priced hotelPosted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Close to the beach
Cons: Air conditioning at the top of the hotel due to the excessive heat in the attic
Location: Beach, Great Orme, shops and restaurants
A reasonably priced hotel, which was within walking distance of the beach and the Great Orme. Nice breakfast which a good choice of food and drink The room was right at the top of the hotel and the heat made it impossible to sleep. Even with the windows open you could hear all the night life (within the pubs) until about 2.00pm. My suggestion would be for a fan or air conditioning at the top of the hotel. Room was large enough for 4 people with clean bedding. There were elements within the room that required dusting. The shower wasn't a power shower and therefore the pressure was very low and the temperature of the water kept getting hotter or freezing cold.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staffPosted Jul 15, 2014
I would highly recommend The Sunnyside to anyone visiting Llandudno. The hotel is in a good location surrounded by pubs and restaurants also not far from the Tram and the beach. The family room was decorated with an Alice in Wonderland theme and had bunk beds so my little boy was thrilled. The staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was a problem to them. We had a great stay and will definitely return.

Nice clean and friendly family run hotel.Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: We liked the location, size and cleanliness.
Cons: The noise of the seagulls early in the morning as the room we stayed in had a flat roof!!
Location: The location was excellent and lots to do, the weather was sunny and we went on the cable cars, tram and had lovely walks along the seafront.
We stayed as a family and the room was a good size and the beds were comfortable and clean. This hotel has been modernised recently with good taste. It was in a good location in the town within walking distance to all amenities. We stayed bed and breakfast, there was a good variety of breakfast options and the food was of good standard. The only problem was parking, as we had to park a few streets away, but we were aware this is always a problem at Llandudno and therefore it never spoilt our holiday.

close to all amenities .Posted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: excellent cooked breakfast, service with a smile.
Cons: nothing, puts some of the so called "better" hotels to shame.
Location: central, shops pubs restaurants beach 2 minutes away.
super two night stay, quiet well furnished double with large bathroom, even though we were on the front of the hotel there was little or no noise intrusion.

very nice hotel close to centre of townPosted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: Location, comfort, warm efficient welcome, good food and service.
Cons: Size of shower facilities and parking although Llanduno is very difficult to park in at the best of times.
Location: Hotel is just off the main street and in eay reach of the Orme tram, pier, seafront and Orme attractions.Lots of local restaurants, bars and cafes nearby
A lovely hotel in easy reach of all attractions, shops and seafront. Very helpful and pleasant staff willing to assist in any way.Very good breakfast with very good service. Only downside for me was the size of the shower,a little on the tight side for a six footer.Apart from this minor point a lovely stay.

Lovely LlundudnoPosted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: Proximity to everything you need. Stylish decor in rooms freshly decorated
Cons: Top floor room, bath only with shower fixture difficult to use. Curtains in room did not stay attached to curtain track.
Location: Male voice choir at local church was highlight of our stay.
Close to shops and promenade. Difficult to get to second floor with luggage.

Not as good as expectedPosted May 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
BB had high scores however found it to be adequate. Breakfast was not available until 8:30. Parking on the street was not a major problem - had to walk a few blocks. Someone opened and closed our licked room door at 6:30 in the morning while we were in bed.

Lovely stayPosted May 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were greeted by the friendly owner and able to leave our bags while our rooms were being cleaned. Our room had clearly been recently refurbed with modern decor and crisp white linen and towels. The bathroom was small but new and clean with a good shower. I presume the communal areas are due to be done as they did not match the rooms. Still, the breakfast area was clean and breakfast was good. I asked for decaff tea which they had. The location is great, just round the corner from the sea front and main shopping street. I would stay here again!
