Nice B &B, comfortable beds and great Breakfast.Posted Oct 1, 2013
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble for them. Central for the attractions of Port Meirion and the railway. Room very comfortable.
Cons: It's great as it is, Possibly make it Adult only ! (Noisy kids running around landing was addressed by proprietor and quickly stamped out.) Thanks !
Location: Location is very good, only criticism was not many places to eat / see of an evening. This is something that the owners have no control over though.
Friendly and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble for them. Central for the attractions of Port Meirion and the railway were close by. Room very comfortable with TV , Tea coffee etc and en-suite facility. Complimentary continental breakfast was excellent. Car park is still undergoing resurfacing,so be prepared to carry your suit case as it wont pull on the large chippings

Friendly OwnersPosted Sep 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Excellent accommodation. Wonderful location. Our room was comfy, very clean and provided us with two very quiet night's sleep. The friendly owners, Anja and Carl provided excellent information of places to visit and pubs and restaurants where we enjoyed wonderful meals. There was a wide choice of food available for breakfast each morning in the hotel. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in Porthmadog.

Small but comfortable and suited our needs of one night only. If you were staying there for longer, might have an issue if you wanted to unpack. The owner was very helpful with providing info re local eating places etc. Breakfast was continental, but that was all that was needed.

Excellent lodge in SnowdoniaPosted Jun 23, 2013
Pros: Very good rate. Excellent service.
Location: Good home base for exploring Snowdonia. Couple of minutes from narrow gauge rail terminus for Ffestiniog and Caernarvon lines.
We arrived quite late in the evening and were welcomed at the door by proprietor Carl, who helped us bring our luggage from car to room on first floor. Carl noted my wife's slight difficulty with the stairs and suggested that he could move us to a room on the ground floor the following day when the current guests in that room checked out. We gratefully accepted, and Carl transferred our belongings for us to the new room while we were out for the day. Breakfast was continental only, but very good - with full assortment of cereals, breads, croissants, yogurt, fruit, meat and cheese, coffee, tea and juices.

Tudor Lodge - a fantastic B&B in Northern WalesPosted Jun 1, 2013
Pros: The whole package
Cons: That it is so far away from Australia.
Location: In a very beautiful area of Northern Wales.
Great hosts, very friendly and helpful. made you fell very welcome. Suggested places in the local area to visit, and where we could get and evening meal. The room was very neat and clean with comfy beds. The breakfast was really great. Wished we could have stayed longer than just one night.
