Lovely clean apartments with the complimentary welcome pack. Brilliant communication with Bea who ensured I knew exactly where they were situated.Brilliant location, just a very short walk from the river.

York holiday stayPosted Aug 25, 2013
Pros: We loved the location and the spaciousness of the apartment together with the fact we had parking facilities adjacent to the unit.
Location: The location was central to York, within easy walking distance to all amenities such as York minster, the castle, the walls etc
I would recommend these holiday apartments to all. We stayed a total of eleven days and the rooms were extremely generous, very central to town and all amenities. We have family near York and rather than stay with them this apartment gave us a little more independence than staying at the homes of our families.

a nice apartment with a couple of problemsPosted Apr 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The apartment is quite swish. It's a little small, and has no bath, just a shower, and the kitchen/dining/sitting area is nice, but small, with a table not easy to use as a dining table, with stools that don't fit. Fine, but perhaps not useful for extended stay where you are planning on settling in. One issue almost made me leave mid-way through the first night. The bed was too short for my partner and me. That would be okay, except it had a solid and large foot that meant neither of us could lie out straight. It is also quite narrow. After a couple of nights of sleeping extremely poorly, I was pretty annoyed.

OK but not "Luxury"Posted Mar 4, 2013
Pros: Location, Parking, Communication, Warm
Location: Ideal for a city break - a short walk to everywhere!
First the good points. The apartment is ideally situated for the city and the wall. Everything is in easy walking distance. Communication with the owners and staff was good and parking was easy and close by. It is equipped with everything you need and was very warm throughout a cold and grey weekend. It is promoted as "Luxury" and while I appreciate that it is a subjective term it did not meet my definition of the word. The worst aspect is the shower room and toilet. It smelt slightly of pee and there were unpleasant yellow stains around the hinges on the toilet cover. The mastic around the shower looked like it was a first attempt by someone and it was missing small touches like a soap tray. Ventilation wasn't great. In other respects the apartment was OK but a little tired and in need of some TLC. So, in summary, it met our needs for a convenient base for a long weekend in York but it didn't entirely meet our expectations.
