Thoroughly recommended for its beautiful location, room and hospitality. We had limited time here and appreciated the fact that we could take a nice walk through the woods which led to magnificent scenery of the moors. We needed to get to York the day after and all the nearest B&B's were booked out- but we are so lucky to have found this gem. The décor is tasteful and the room was toasty warm. The pub is a stone's throw away serving excellent food and the breakfast here was delicious. We will definitely be returning. the owners are very warm and let you get on with it but are always there for you if you need any help. Thank you for a great stay!

The Guest House looked small from the outside, however inside it like a tardis! The proprietors are welcoming and friendly. My room was very comfortable, everything I could need was provided and it was so very clean, especially the en-suite.
Breakfast was delicious and nothing seemed too much trouble for Janette and John.
All in all it was like staying with friends!!

Stayed here at Rockwood House B&B for one night on our way back from Scotland. This place is located in the lovely village of Embsay, just out of Skipton. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very nice.
Would have been nice to have had a hot chocolate with breakfast as I don't drink tea or coffee.
We had a ground floor room which made it easy to carry our luggage. The parking was free (in the carpark on the opposite side of the street). Our hosts were friendly and courteous.
The pub, Elm Tree, just down the road was very handy for drinks and a hearty supper. Would happily stay here again to explore this lovely countryside.

We came to Harrogate to go to a freinds 40th wedding anniversary party. As we had never been to Harrogate we decided to make it a mini break. It was our first stay at the Alamah but hopefully not our last now we have discovered the delights of Harrogate. Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Breakfast kept us going, and Sue and Judy the owners were freindly and helpful. We will come again.
