This is our favourite hotel for stop off before heading back to Scotland,the staff are friendly and extremely friendly,great food comfy sleep.

Great place to stay as stop off on way home from Scotland. Very close to cinema in a converted station in Richmond so a nice evening there Many thanks to Tracy in the restaurant. Brilliant and so helpful

Stayed Monday night and Wednesday 2 different room one very soft bed and the other very hard. But ok. Room clean but dated felt old fashioned. Water pressure on shower not the best. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Staff are SUPER
The place is immaculately organized and staffed. Front desk are SUUPER and breakfast crew are LOVELY. Everyone is so punctual and warm. I will be in a rush to get back whenever in Darlington/Richmond/… area.

Stayed before as it’s a convenient stop over. We find that it is a comfortable and peaceful place to relax. The restaurant food was good for dinner and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was good with an excellent selection of hot and cold food on offer. Even tho this was New Year’s Eve - we had peace and quiet with no disturbance at all. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Lovely stay
Had a lovely stay. Food and restaurant service excellent. Disappointed that safe in bedroom didn't work and that there was no keys/padlocks for lockers in health centre.

Choose this hotel for the pool it was closed when we asked about going at 5, Room clean and comfortable . Food was awful pasta dish was not properly cooked no sauce just water at bottom, though chips good.Drinks over priced £10 for a glass of prosecco.

Hotel stay experience.
The hotel felt dated. Not very friendly for people with disability. Even food was poor quality in taste, choice and service. Items on both Drinks and food were not available. Italian menue lacked choice. No spaghetti, ravioli, lasania, etc Breakfast was good.

The staff were very friendly,polite and willing to help. The hotel fixtures and fittings are old, carpets worn and tbread bare. Requires updating.

Better than expected ....
The hotel location on the Scotch Corner roundabout makes it easy to access. The hotel is decorated in a pleasing modern style. Bar and restaurant service was very good. The room, albeit slightly smaller than expected, was provided with a fridge. The hotel makes a good base for touring in the area, and is clearly popular with business travellers
