“Nice hotel, a couple minor irritations”

Check-in was quick and easy. The lounge was comfortable and serving free tea and coffee. When I entered my room I found four bottles of water and two chocolate bars -- compliments of the hotel manager. The room was quite large and clean, but someone had recently used the toilet and left the room smelling a bit rank. Room service breakfast was good, but when I tried to contact room service for a late-afternoon meal there was no answer any of the three times I tried to call during a 10-minute period. Parking in the basement garage was £5 per day, and internet access via an extremely weak wireless signal was £15 per day. The room had two wired Ethernet connections, but the person at the front desk said they could not be activated. Despite the few annoyances, I would stay here again.
