Knavesmire Manor Hotel

Hotel is in a good location; just a short walk (15 mins) from York town centre. Straff very friendly but food is just ok. I ordered a mixed grill (steak, gammon, sausage and pork loin steak) off the evening menu for £16.95. The meal arrived without the pork loin; after complaining the waitress said they had no pork loin and that she could knock 95p off the cost of the meal. I said they should have told me before ordering to give me the oppurtunity to order something else. Eventually got more money knocked off. I would stay there again just not eat there.

Staff welcoming and helpful. Lovely view of Race Course from our room. Enjoyed a swim in pleasant environment and pleased to find we can with our dods in very nice motel style garden rooms.
