“clean, quiet and great breakfast”
Extremely nice hotel, nice short walk to centre of town. cant fault any aspect of it. Breakfast menu is very good, we opted for the Ham and Eggs, very tasty.
“Nice Hotel”
Good hotel and excellent breakfast. good location for Harrogate's main attractions but be aware that parking can be difficult. we arrived on a saturday evening and had difficulty finding a parking place. but otherwise difficult to fault this small friendly Hotel.
“Very Impressed”
Extremely nice, clean and quiet hotel. It is only a short walk to the town centre, so no use for transport. There is a great choice of food for breakfast.
“Good choice”
Conveniently placed and well managed hotel. Would definitely go back.
“jonbrens brill stay”
The hotel location is not on the official map given out by the Tourist Information which makes it a bit difficult to find. When we did find it it was a pleasant approach with a well presented garden as you walked up the path. Nice bowl of sweets at reception, the clerk was a bit shy, and I think maybe foreign but pleasant. The room was on top floor, passing through 3 fire doors & 2 staircases - these doors kept out any noise. The room was very nicely decorated with matching curtains and bedspreads, plenty big enough, bathroom was very good, Towels were lovely & fluffy and really dried you. Bed was comfortable, the tea / coffee facilities were good, excellent quantities of tea, coffee(2 Types) suchards drinking choc, a choice of milk or whitener, 2 packets of biscuits. Breakfast was very very good served up by a very pleasant girl. Starters were a good range, main course was all local bought produce. Sausage & Black puds and the eggs. Bread (white & brown) was homemade and the jams were local as well. We would use this hotel again if we came to Harrogate. Town centre is a pleasant stroll of about 10 mins. reviewed by 2 pensioners from Billinge Lancs.
“An excellent place to stay”
An excellent place to stay. would definitely stay again. Room was very comfortable and the whole place spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very, very good and the staff first class. Certainly deserves its reputation.
“Great rooms and breakfast but not a business hotel”
The Grafton is a smart, stylish B&B, almost a small boutique hotel. The room I had was lovely especially the bathroom and I can't fault the breakfast which was delicious. My only issue was to do with check out when I asked for a receipt for my expenses. Clearly the owner doesn't get many business travellers, even though the hotel is close to the conference centre, because he refused to give me one. I use Expedia frequently to book business travel and have never had a hotel refuse to give me a receipt. Hopefully the company I work for will accept the email confirmation from Expedia for my expenses!
“grafton Hotel, Harrogate”
Nice , clean and convient hotel
“WIFI troubles”
Issue with WIFI, and the staff not helpful. For the rest, thé hôtel meet the promise
“Not Impressed”
Friendly service and a great breakfast. Basically this is a tired boarding house in need of decoration. I would not class it as a Hotel. That said its very good value when booked through Expedia.
