“Hope the renovation will finish soon”

When we booked the Hotel, we were not aware that some renovation work had been going on and will continue till few months later. After we checked in, we found the notice that the noise could be a nuisance. Unfortunately our room was just below the renovation site, and my wife was awaken sharpy at 9am by the drilling noise. We complained to the managment who put an immediately halt, to the noise for the two days we stayed in and even give us a delightful compensation with a free breakfast!

Area recommendations

King Solomon's cave and Marakoopa Caves: We first went to King Solomon's cave because the Marakoopa Cave was flooded. It was really fantastic. The next day when Marakoopa Cave dried up we took the underground river and glow-worm visit: agaiin fascinating. Unlike the caves in China which were decorated with mutli-coloured lights, the simple lighting in these caves actually showed up the geologic features much better in a more natural charm.
