The bathroom was leaking, the door handle to the bathroom was almost off. The stairs looked like it had not been swept in days.
“In need of remodeling”
The hotel was $25 more expensive than others in the surrounding area that I could have chosen, so I expected the room to be nicer than it was. The lobby itself was very nice, the staff very friendly and accomodating. The continental breakfast was decent- the highlight being that you could make a fresh Belgian Waffle if you chose. The room could have been better. My main complaint was the fact that the vanity/mirror unit was in need of repair- the calking holding the lower portion had come loose so it was hanging there which does not give a good impression about maintenance. The floor tiles in the bathroom were chipped and in need of replacement, and the bathtub did not appear to be clean. Whether it was truly dirty or just extremely old are debatable- the entire bathroom needed a remodel badly. Overall I am disappointed that I paid a little more money and did not get as nice of a room as I expected for the price. I would not stay here again unless it was noted in the profile that a complete remodel had been done.
