I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again. It was just outside Milan city centre, but convenient to get to using tram, bus or the metro system. It has parking on-site for those with cars, the staff members were friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was fantastic. Fresh fruit, cereal, yogurts, meat, cheese, eggs, bacon, sausages, tea/coffee, juices...nothing missing, basically.
The room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds.

Difficult to get to this hotel as it is on the overground train about 8 stops from Milan centre. Once at the station it is a bus journey to the hotel 1 Euro but stops about 1KM from the hotel then you have to walk.
Since our stay we realise that the hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the local train station for 5 Euro, so ring them when you get to the station.
We stayed in a twin room which offers a single and a twin bed, which were comfortable but not quite Premier inn standard. Shower room to dream of however and a nice touch with touch sensitive lighting controls.
Overall we were very pleased with our choice of hotel but would say the town doesn`t offer much so probably best to stay in the hotel for food, menu limited but ok and in Italian only, would recommend ordering a side dish with any mains ordered as the main comes without any trimmings.

Beautifully designed hotel felt like 5 star hotel. Room was adequate size. We were 4 adults staying in a room. Sofabed wasnt too comfortable but they never are. Main twin beds were comfy. amazing tv hidden behind a lovely mirror. Bathroom very clean and huge shower. Slight problem with the amount of water coming from the taps at times, which I had read on a previous review too.
The hotel is a chinese affiliated hotel so about 100 chinese turned up straight after us. Main restaurant is also catered to their taste somewhat. Breakfast was really nice..phenomenal croissants! Free parking and there is plenty, was very handy as was free wifi.
They have a small outdoor garden area which was just an awesome chill out area at nighttime with relaxing music playing...
For just over £100 for 4 adults with breakfast, and free parking, was amazing value for money...you will not be disappointed...but you do need a car because its in middle of nowhere..

The hotel itself is fantastic - the converted Convent is beautiful - very high ceilings with original wood beams - we also had a large living room - incredible value for what we paid. the grounds are also very nice and the restaurant deserves its Michelin star - we had 1 great dinner there and went downtown the other 2 nights.
The area around the hotel is rather industrial - there is a park which we did not visit - we went to shopping mall across the street - not much going on there. the Bignami metro stop is about 5-10 min walk from hotel - safe during day but not a good idea coming back late at night - we paid 23 Euros for a cab ride on a friday night from the Duomo back to the hotel.

This hotel was booked as an overnight stay on our drive back to England from Italy. The apartment was beautiful and modern with a spacious shower and separate large bath which the kids loved. The beds were very comfortable, the balcony lovely and the spacious kitchen included a dishwasher, but no washing machine. The apartment door was a super heavy security door that made us feel very safe. Overall we were very pleased and impressed. The only negative point was that the microwave plug would not fit the socket as it had the newer large pins and the socket was of the old small pin type. Staying in August is not advisable if you want to eat out locally as most of the local shops and restaurants are on holiday. Also our car was too tall for the underground car park with the roof box on, but the staff came up with a solution so that our vehicle was still secure during our stay.

We went to Milan for the weekend to see our son perform at the Teatro Arcimboldi. The hotel was close to the theatre, it was very modern clean and inviting. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Cooked bacon and scrambled eggs, cold meats and bread, croissants and cake, toast and jams. Everything you could want. The staff were extremely helpful. All in all a wonderful experience

Cannot fault my stay at the Duca di Mantova. Clean, well mainained, easy to get to, kind staff. Price, for that quality, is unbeatable. Isolated, but with a huge shopping mall on your doorstep. Will certainly consider staying there again.

Home of the Arco della Pace, an arch originally built for Napoleon in 1807, and Leonardo Da Vinci’s Fading Fresco, Northern Milan is filled with history and culture. Italian history comes to life in the local museums, which feature artifacts extending back to medieval times. Visitors in need of relaxation can browse through local shops or spend an afternoon in one of the area's many parks.
