“Best Hotel in Defuniak”

Overall the hotel was fresh, new, and clean! Completely enjoyed my stay there and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

“clean and spacious”

We spent two nights at this Comfort Inn for the wedding of a relative in a nearby city in October, 2011. It is a relatively new hotel and everything was neat and clean. Our room was well-appointed and spacious with a full sized sofa and large desk. The king bed was very comfortable and the bed linens and covers were fresh and clean. There were four pillows which were the right size and firmness. The bathroom was modern and everything worked properly. The towels could have been thicker, but they weren't bad. This is not a five-star hotel by any means, but the price is excellent for what you get. There was a work-out room. There is a pool. The ice-maker works great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A continental breakfast is included but we didn't see much we wanted to eat there. It was very skimpy. We noticed that the elevator had an "out of order" sign ( but we were on the first floor ). The hotel is located in a pretty, wooded area just off I-10 with easy on-easy off access, yet there was no road noise. Several fast-food restaurants are close-by.
