Bad experience

Air conditioning didn't work, tv remote didn't work, light in bathroom didn't work. Had to move to last room available after unpacking. We will never stay there again.

Nothing works!

Bathroom extractor did not work, A/C barely cooled, hair dryer did not work. Dirty carpet

I'm sorry for these issues you experienced at our hotel. The extreme heat has taken a tole on our air conditioners, we have been istalling new ones as they come in . We found the hairdryer that you are speaking of and it needed to be reset. As for the carpets, we try to stay on a regular cleaning schedule but have had issues sticking to it with the updating that we have been doing and the weather has not been very cooperative.

Bad hotel

The floor was not vacuumed and shower stall looked like it had grease or something similar smeared on walls. No room service for two days and only partial room service after that. Not a place I will recommend or return to.

I'm sorry for the problems you experienced while staying with us. The smears you speak of are actually a pattern in the marble tub surround and the vanity. It is standard protocol in housekeeping to only change the linens every 2-3 days in a stayover room, unless the guest requests otherwise. If your belongings are on the bed then the housekeeping staff has no choice but to leave it and not move anything. They are not allowed to touch a guests belongings.

Perfect for price

Experience was great. Got the hotel stay at a great rate. Hotel was clean and staff was very polite. The waffles with the free breakfast was great. They need to either replace or clean the carpets they left my socks filthy.

Good stop-over for a night

When traveling we only need 3 things in a overnight room. Clean, warm in the winter or cool the summer, and reasonably priced. This days inn met all three. Check-in was quick and pleasant. Breakfast buffet had all the usual fare. Will stay again if we come this way again.

housekeeping disappointment

Pros: The price so it's like the old saying, you get what you pay for.
Cons: the housekeeping details
The bathroom and shower walls were disgusting with filth. I ran my hand over the microwave and it was covered in dust. The remote did not work for the television.

My stay

The room was filthy. The coffee pot in the room had mold growing in it and the door would hardly lock. The TV did not have a remote control and you could not turn it on or off without one. Turns out you had to get the remote from the front desk. We went through two different remotes because the code on the remote only lasts for so long. Neither the vending machine or the ice machine on the 2nd floor worked. Thank goodness we were only staying one night.

Not so Nice

Pros: Breakfast was o.k. Tried making a waffel but the waffel maker was broken.
Cons: update the hotel rooms
The bed was confortable, but found a couple of roaches in the bathroom. The hook of the bathroom door was broken and hanging from the door.

Disappointing

Checked in and the room was unlocked, and smelled musty. The controller didn't work on the tv.the room key only worked once, every time after I had to get it reprogrammed in the office, Maybe that's why the door was unlocked when we got there. Really disapointed
