This hotel is not even a one star, The non smoking room the owner offered was full smelling smoke and holes in the sheets. Asked for another room, same smell and dirty. I didn’t stay there that night. I took another hotel because it looked unsafe and all abandoned. Owner said he will refund and when I called Expedia and they called him to verify, he denied it and charged my card even though I didn’t stay there. Lobby and breakfast place really bad. Rating 1 out of 10

not good
this was an old Super 8. It was not very well maintained. There we holes in the walls, the floor covering was loose and coming up and the wall paint was poor. the bedding was old and worn.

This property is well beyond its due date. Had a bug in our bed and linens were torn and ripped in multiple places. Asked for a better room or our money back. She gave us another room with at least no bugs but still dirty. Worst place we ever stayed. Shame on Super 8 and Wyndham for having such property under their banner.

1. This property was shabby and needs immediate updating/upgrading! 2. The double office reception door when opened was filthy (filled w/black dirt to be exact)! 3. There was no cold water in the bathroom sink to brush my teeth and I had to get cold water from the tub in order to do so — totally inconvenient! 4. Noticed a few roaches throughout! 5. I was deeply disappointed overall with my accommodations.

Well first off I didn't like because the bedspread was dirty it looked like someone had sex on it because there was white spots all over it and you could tell that's pretty much all I have to complain about I did run out of toilet paper but I opted not to have my room clean in the three days that I stayed there people next door to me we're having sex and she was screaming about it so it was a little loud until I knocked on the wall and told them to knock it off. Owen check me in and he was very respectful and very nice and I appreciated that. Oh what other thing I was very scared about falling out of the tub because they didn't have anything in the tub any anti-slip things and also the toilet in there rocks back and forth so it was loose

Tried to way over charge for room.. $418 checked price after seeing the room and it listed for $287. Went to office and asked for a discount..was told they couldn't help us so we canceled the room. The room was disgusting. There were holes in the wall,the bathroom door was falling off the hinges. Towel rack in the bathroom was broken off. The toilet was loose..I tried adding photos of this problems and more but the app isn't letting me...

Sad little place
There were places that had not been cleaned well--you could see stuff spilled on the bathroom counter and there was another spot on the nightstand. No lights came on with the switch, some lights did not work, and on lamp was broken. The security lock was broken. One towel rack was broken. There was noise from the nearby freeway. Breakfast was bottles of juice, and honeybuns--we were only able to have the coffee. But it still had vestiges of other offerings, so it was disappointing. The fellow at the front desk was friendly, kindly, and made small talk. The rate was modest, comparatively speaking. There was not a lot to choose from in Chipley, so that was important to us. Still, it left much to be desired. I hope they can make some improvements along the way--but cleaning thoroughly would be an important and compartively inexpensive improvement.

Comfortable for 1 night.
Very comfortable 1 night stay. We arrived early and the woman in the front office was really nice and served me immediately. It’s an old motel and the renovations are not the best, but they’re cosmetic and it was just a quick trip. If you’re fussy, you’ll want to spend more money elsewhere bc there were holes in the sheets, the bathroom outlet didn’t work, and the shower head was not great…but overall it’s a good value for the price.

The lady behind the desk was rude. I told her to put the $40 deposit on my credit card and the room on my debit card. She took $80 for a deposit on my credit card and the then the room on my debit card. When I got to the building with the rooms I noticed most of the rooms don’t have a room number. When I finally found a number close to my room number and worked my way down to find my room I took my things inside. Once I closed the door I realized the security lock was missing a piece. I called the front desk and asked for another room. I was told all they had was a smoking. I decided to go somewhere else. In the 10 minutes since I left the office they had processed my payments, double what the deposit was supposed to be. I was told the refunds would get back to me in 4-5 business days. I was traveling. I didn’t have enough money to go anywhere else. They didn’t care and neither did their customer care line.

Safe and "good enough"
Electrical outlet at sink didn't work and sink drain cap missing (don't drop a ring!). Stains on bedding (clean, but simply looked worn.) Otherwise, a fair and comfortable stay and appropriately priced beneath its nicer looking neighbors. If just needing to sleep on a budget, this will do.
