Hotel within walking distance of nice beachPosted May 18, 2015
This hotel is not horrible. But is a far cry from Sonoran Sun or other condo. If the price was less, it would be a better/good deal. But considering two nights here is a little over half the cost of two nights at the sun, I have a difficult time giving this a higher score. The pool is too cold. No direct beach access. Neighbors were loud. A/C could not keep humidity down to comfortable level even in low 70 degree weather. Parking is not the best. (secure??) Bathroom was decent. Lots of water hot or cold and drained properly. Towels only. No wash cloths or hand towels. No fridge. Didn't turn on TV so no idea about it. Beds were terribly uncomfortable. Hotel looks great from far but is far from great. Not sure if I will stay again or not. Depends on how desperate I am for my beach "fix"!

Okay for a short stayPosted May 18, 2015
The stay was not bad. The facility was not too bad. The bed on the other hand was not the best. It was sort of like sleeping on a slab of concrete. Also other than the guy in the pick up truck that almost ran down my daughter, her friend and I as we were coming back from the beach and crossing the street to the hotel. I do not believe he was staying there as I went looking for him. Anyhow, we stayed in a suit and was not bad. Could probably use a really good cleaning as there were also un known substances on the couch cushions. It did have a small kitchen area that has a microwave, sink, two burner stove and a small refrigerator. Again, not bad for a weekend stay. The walk to the beach is not too bad, but a hike if you are taking a lot of stuff to carry. The bar and restaurant there is nice and different from the rest of the property. The bar tender was professional and made a pretty good Bloody Mary.

Convenient and good valuePosted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: Location and atmosphere.
Cons: See experience, beds !!!
Location: The town is nearby
Good location, overlooking beach and sea. Good small swimming pool, ideal for families. Enjoyed the room very clean and nice balcony overlooking the sea and pool. Ideal for small family holiday. I found the staff very helpful Ivan on the desk and the mid provided extra towels . Easy access to Puerto Penasco. and safe. Bad issues, beds hard as a rock as mattress on solid base.(typical in Mexico) Continental breakfast (which continent ! ) give it a miss. No longer has dining room. A few light bulbs missing ?

Mini GetawayPosted Apr 20, 2015
We loved the hotel. The kids loved the pool. We just had hoped for waffles for breakfast but other than that it was a very comfy stay. Clean and a lot of space.

Great location near the beach, reasonable rates.Posted Apr 3, 2015
They need to buy a few rollaway beds, they need to have a program to allow guests to check out towels for beach use.

Reasonable Hotel near a beachPosted Mar 21, 2015
Pros: T!he hotel was quiet, clean and staff were pleasant
Cons: Improved breakfast
Location: See above comments
Three couples booked three rooms for two nights. Reasonable rate with pleasant surroundings, just off a beach in Peunto Penasco. We had to ask for water to be turned on in the rooms, but no problem once we approached front desk. Nice restaurant at hotel, which was a bit expensive for Mexican Standards. However, we were there during Spring Break, and we understood prices were elevated. breakfast was very basic - loaf of bread, butter, jam, toaster banans, apples, sugar cereals and container of milk on a table in a small room. Coffe also available. The hotel is Quite a drive from downtown shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Roads in the town are under construction, which causes some challenges.

Sliding patio door was broken and would not lock. Water in showers went hot and cold. Pillows we as hard as a board. Not impressed considering the price for Mexico.
