Easy Access to Washington DC

Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: Close to major tourist sights and restaurants.
Cons: Heat did not work well in the room. Shower curtain torn and would not stay in place.
Location: Shopping center across the road. Restaurants and gas stations nearby. East access to I-395.
Comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Inexpensive place to stay when you want to spend more money on sightseeing.

Overnighter

Pros: Nothing particulary
Cons: Breakfast and Internet connection as computer in reception area didn't work properly.
Location: Shops nearby and petrol station. Busy road not that far away.
Fine. Relaxed customer service officers. Breakfast lacked eggs and wholemeal bread.

Inexpensive hotel but still not worth it

Posted Oct 21, 2014
The hotel room was terrible... Water drainage in the shower and sink were not working properly! Reserved a room for 3 adults but only had clean towels for 2 of us upon arrival.

Worst

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Fire half the staff due the lack of common sense
I was awaken at 11:30pm by two men who the hotel booked them in the same room as me, after a brief conversation between us the returned to the front desk, then a security guard came to my room and wanted to know what I was doing there. I had to go to the front desk to get it straight. I had out patient surgery that day and just wanted to sleep but couldn't and to make matters worse when the 2 guys came in my room to start with I jumped up tearing my stiches loose and started bleeding again. The security guard though it was funny so he kept saying dude your bleeding out. I was woke up twice more before 4:00am by people looking for the 2 guys earlier. I left at 4:30am and drove the 4 hours home.

Worn Facility but Room Clean

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: It was less expensive than most area hotels. The shuttle to the metro was nice.
Cons: Paint.
Location: It's located right beside another motel and a Kentucky Fried Chicken. There is a grocery store and Dollar Tree (everything $1) across the road.
The motel was in an are that appeared reasonably safe. The desk personnel were friendly and pleasant. The desk and lobby area were in good condition and clean. The exterior of the facility was run down, with the room doors and sidewalks desperately in need of painting. Room 202 was old but clean. The carpet was in very good condition, but the walls were all in need of painting. There was no remote for the TV. It had a window AC that was in new-like condition. The door did not latch properly; you have to fiddle with it to get it to release and hold into the door frame. It was very nice that they ran a shuttle van to the Van Dorn metro station a number of miles away. The continental breakfast was not very good; it consisted of toast, fruit loops and frosted flakes cereal, and milk. No coffee was to be seen in the breakfast area.

Ok Motel.

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Position near Washington.
Cons: Room condition and Breakfasts.
Location: Good for access to Washington and Motorways. Seems to be lots of food outlets and shop in the area.
We arrived late as we were travelling, Staff helpful, Motel outside a little dated. Room also a bit dated, relatively clean until you looked a bit closer. Don't go for breakfast at 08.30 as choice very limited, and we struggled to get enough cereal for a tiny bowl each. Ok for a short stay. Motel is in a busy area within easy reach of Washington attractions.

A Good Day @ the Inn

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: The hotel was clean glad that it wasn't far to travel to Washington D.C. area.
Cons: The mattress in our room was too firm for me, sleep wasn't easy, but I like the pretty yellow bedspread and the pillows were nice and soft.
Location: The location was great for my husband and I because we were able to find restaurants and shopping really easy plus the highway was close by. : ^ )
Our two days spent at Days Inn were made pleasant by the staff at the front desk, very helpful and cheerful.

Nice location and price

The ice machines didnt work for 5 days. This made being in a room with no fridge more expensive for us.
