Best Western Mount Vernon/Ft. Belvoir

This hotel had great service but is an older hotel with poor tv reception and a loud a/c unit--but both worked. Beds fairly comfortable but do not compare to Holiday Inn or Country Inn and Suites. Very close to Washington's home at Mount Vernon.

Very average, but what can you expect from a motel.

Disappointing! Picked a weekend when the carpet in the lobby to the basement was being replaced. What a racket!! The next morning I had to limbo under yellow barricade tape to get down to breakfast in spite of the management’s promise things would be ready. Arrived two hours early.....had to wait to get a room. Asked for room on first floor when I made reservations...got third floor. Left a day early and was glad to get out.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this Best Western for our long weekend getaway in Virginia. Our room was clean and didn't find any issues except for the door leading into the room which you have to pull in first and then push after inserting the smart card. Other than that, we had a very nice and comfortable stay. I definitely recommend it.

I have to say that the staff at the Best Western Mt. Vernon were absolutely and totally amazing!!!!! Everyone was soooooo nice and helpful and personable but still professional. They treated us so well, it was such a treat! I will not forget Dalmeth, Salman, Marcus or Arthur! EVER! They made our once in a lifetime trip to D.C. so extra special. Best service I have ever received. I'm not joking. Very memorable! The hotel itself was also great. Awesome matresses, comfortable rooms, very clean and a great hot breakfast every morning! And the housekeeping staff did a great job too! And they provide a shuttle service to the Metro (subway station) daily. So handy and very much appreciated! This hotel really has great staff. The owner should be proud. Thanks to everyone at the Best Western Mount Vernon!

Breakfast was totally and badly managed, missing parts and service.

Nice clean hotel with nice breakfast. We stayed in room with King size bed and it was very clean and cozy.

First, I don't understand why the check-in time was so late(3pm) when you've paid for most of the day already. We had a midday engagement & we needed to freshen up after a long drive. Thankfully, they did let us check in early because we kept bugging them. Also thankful that there were no bedbugs! Staff was friendly, but there wasn't anybody to help with the luggage, not that we needed it. We saw some elderly guests that could have used the hotel help upon checking in. The continental breakfast was not too bad. Loved the location! Being near some restaurants, fast foods, pharmacy & the bus stop was great. There was a day we had to commute to D.C. & it was convenient. The room that we stayed was too dim; it needed a general lighting. There were only 2 lamps & the entry light which were all dim.

Had a GREAT stay! Room very good and very clean. Out of all the hotels we have stayed in over the years, this staff was the most helpful and the friendliest!!!
