old and filthy hotelPosted Nov 13, 2014
Pros: Nearby distance of downtown Washington D.C.
Cons: Old and dirty hotel.
Location: Alexandria, VA (nearby downtown Washington D.C). The area has several authentic cuisines options.
The hotel is very old, the room is filthy and smelly. We reserved a non-smoking room, but the first room smelled like a hookah bar. We asked to either to get refunded, and cancel the reservation. We could not get refunded for the amount that we paid for as we were told the sale was final. So, we were given another room. Although, this room did not smell like smoke, but it smelled like dirt and filth. We ended up stayed there as our budget was limited, and we did not want to loose close to 300 bucks (the price of 3 nights). The hotel was very close to downtown D.C though (about 20mins driving).

Not a hotel I would suggestPosted Oct 20, 2014
The hotel looks tired, old and well past it's sell by date. The staff are pleasant but seem to have a a lot to do all alone as there is no support staff for most of the day. If desperate stay here, other wise look for somethign else.

You get what you pay forPosted Oct 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
you will Smell smoke all over even the rooms that are non-smoking, A lot of noise from the next rooms It seems like a lot of people from low income live there and the Government is paying for it. My advice to you is just pay a little bit more and find nice place to stay
