We have always searched for candlewood when we traveled as we loved these hotels. As of late, not so much, to the point we probably won't stay at another. When we went to go in our room the door would not work. We had to get a different room, and the only king room they had was a smoking room. We do not like all of our belongings smelling like smoke, but I wasn't paying for something I'm not getting, so I agreed. The room reeked, had stains all over the floors, chairs, and couch. The toilet seat was basically falling off, to the point you had to be very careful or you would end up on the floor using the restroom. Then in the morning we discovered the coffee pot did not work either. We couldn't even notify anyone upon checkout as your to just leave your room key in a box on the desk and there was no one there when we left. My fiance was furious and I was also upset, as these hotels used to be very luxurious and comfortable. Like a little home away from home. Anymore they have become a "what will be wrong this time." We've stayed at others last year that we additionally had issues
