Suites are spacious and comfortable, although somewhat worse for the wear. The fridge in our first room was not cold, so we moved next door. (Ice machine in hall also broken, as were laundry machines.) That fridge worked but the shower curtain was too short and water constantly flooded the floor. Good thing we had extra towels. Otherwise the room was comfortable, big enough for a family. Beds were super comfortable, if on the small size for a queen. Breakfast was good. Of the three front desk staff I encountered, two were gruff (and one rather rude to another customer). Sorry if they had a long day, after a 10 hour drive, so did I. Nonetheless, I would stay here again. Short walk (up a steep hill) to Metro. Parking is $15/night, and if you beg they will give you the code to the garage instead of parking lot.

It served the purpose. I went up for breakfast early on my last day and when I returned to my room to take a nap (all of my belongings still clearly visible in room), my bed was stripped, even though I 1) still had the do not disturb sign on the door, and 2) there was no reason for someone to be in my room before I checked out. It was also very noisy - guests running down the halls and being loud, etc.

Staff very friendly, was well pleased with the room accommodations, service to our room was great, except for the maintenance guy, had an issue with the heat, he was kinda rude.

A great place to stay for my family of 4. Spacious room, very clean and quiet. Breakfast room has a great view of the city, and great hot breakfast with lots of options. Beds were very comfortable and shower was fine. Easy 2-block walk to the subway station, and daily parking was a very fair price per day. My 13 and 10 year olds enjoyed walking to Fireworks Pizza for dinner so much that we ate there again the second night. A perfect stay!

Good property for the price. We went during Easter weekend which means it was really busy. Long lines for breakfast in the morning and parking spots were scarce in the evening. Also, two out of three elevators were down meaning long lines waiting to use. We did use the stairs when we could. I will say, they had the best continental breakfast I’ve seen in a long time, so it made it worth the wait. Very convenient location to get to the metro and into the city.

This is my 3rd time staying here and I'm always satisfied. Front desk staff are freindly and it is a convenient location to everything in the DMV area.

Staff didn't show to clean-up our room, basically we are accurate and cleaning wasn't needed, but at least to change a towels but did knock our door 4 times on a date of check-out. Balcony declared on booking was screw-drived and closed.

Nice place. The room is huge and comes with kitchen and a lot of facilities if you travel with kids or family. Very old fashioned building and furniture but clean. Breakfast is very good. Very close to Arlington cemetery and all the places to go in DC. Be aware the parking is $15 per night and by request, so be carefully if the hotel is full. Good hotel to stay in Washington DC with family.

Needs an update. Three small elevators and only one worked per day. Color of walls is very dated and shows dirt. Lobby furniture was very worn. Convenient to sightseeing.

Property is old but will do. They will charge $15 for parking per night in addition to the Expedia price. FYI, you won't be able to change room if you book through Expedia. Limited amenities.

Booked a "Suite" that in the Expedia description was meant to be a seperate bedroom and not the "Studio" Efficiency room that was cheaper. So paid a premium. But got to check-in and Expedia booked the Studio so had paid extra for nothing. The staff didn't want to help as it was Expedia's problem. Expedia wanted the hotel to give a refund and neither were budging. In the end nothing and I'm out of pocket. Just book the standard room as it's well confusing. Internet was dodgy and every 8 hours logged you out and was a pain to sign in again. Got a majurana smoker on the floor above that permeated to our room at 10pm, but staff were helpful to get this resolved. The rooms are dated but large. The place is well worn so be warned! Breakfast is standard affair and place is conveniently located to DC and local restaurants within 15 min walk. Other than the booking issue it's fine for a couple of nights but if you want a more up to date place stay elsewhere.

The staff were friendly most say awesome all my enquiries were answered from entering and completely i had to stay another night the breakfast was great.. The place was very clean both rooms and breakfast area.. loved it i will visit again.. i guess we got stuck in DC fir this reason find new suite

Conveniently located but not worth the price
1 out of the 4 front desk people I interacted with was pleasant and didn’t seem upset by having to put their phones down and talk to me. The trash from the previous guest was still in the room after we checked-in. The carpet was threadbare in multiple places and clearly had been re-glued down along the kitchen border. For two adults and an infant- two bath towels for use during the week stay was not adequate. The dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes so we had to buy dish soap to clean them. Breakfast was mediocre- bagels a little stale and fresh fruit was pre-cut so the apples were browning and oranges had evidence of being used across multiple days. Room cleaning was only once a week (on Fridays) for guests staying a week or more. One of the access doors had the key reader access device missing (looked broken off) so you had to walk all the was to the other side of the hotel to enter from the parking area. Overall- not worth the price. It was conveniently located though.

Great suite stay
I knew the hotel from a friend who has stayed there for years so I was confident it would be a good place. The rate was extremely reasonable for the quality of the room. A wonderful breakfast buffet is complimentary. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was courteous but no very friendly. There were no newspapers available for guests and nowhere to purchase in the hotel - had to drive to get to nearby restaurants. TV set very small and decor is very old-fashioned. Breakfast is ok but ends too early (9AM). Fruit bowl is unacceptable - apples and oranges were quartered but not cored, bananas were old.
