My stay at the comfort Inn

Posted Feb 21, 2014
My original room the phone did not work, it could not be replaced until monday. It was a big security since I was assigned a corner room at the end of the hall near the exit door in cul de sac. On sunday I placed the do not disturbed sign while I went to breakfast. After breakfast I removed the sign about 10am and left the hotel for the day. When I returned in the late evening the room was not cleaned. I was only offered apology and clean towels. I had extened my stay upon check in. I was upgraded to a suite on, the room had a missing in bedroom.

close to the beach and casinos

Posted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: walking distance to the beach and casinos
Cons: please put microwave on every room. you don't wanna put all your cloth just to heat a meal for 30 sec, don't you?
you get what you paid for. Location is good, spacious for 3 people (booked for 2 twin bed - facing beach). But you couldn't really see the beach from balcony as there are other buildings blocking the view.

Great location, near metro, just off highway

Posted Nov 19, 2013
Pros: Location Included breakfast Friendly and helpful front desk Free parking Free shuttle Short drive to plenty of food and shopping
Location: Right off the highway Short free shuttle ride to Metro Quick drive to food and shopping
Hotel was very nice, better than expected for the price. Free parking! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Being from Cincinnati we needed a lot of help with how the metro worked and the front desk helped us a lot. The shuttle was a great plus with very fast service. We never had to wait more than a few min for the driver and the driver was always very friendly. The Metro was about a 30 min ride each way to and from the Smithsonian stop and did cost us about $30-35 per day during off peak hours for a family of 4. That is a little pricey, but considering you can't really drive to DC we didn't see that as a deal breaker. Having breakfast included was a huge plus. Not having to spend extra money everyday and leaving the hotel is a big bonus for my family. The actual breakfast was pretty good, better than we expected. Waffles, eggs, bacon, cereal, pastries, coffee, juice, and milk was plenty for us. It was just what we needed to start the day. If/when we decide to go back to DC we will definitely look here first.

Fast and friendly service

After a long drive from NYC we were greeted by friendly faces and a clean and comfortable room with a nice view. Will stay here again when in the area. The location was very convenient (about 5 minutes from shopping areas and dining). The parking lot and free parking is great too!

Keep in Mind

Posted Nov 3, 2013
Pros: The front desk staff, especially Mohammed, were pleased to answer our questions and to give directions.
Cons: The breakfast coffee is made cup by cup by a machine. Drinkable, but not much more.
Location: This is more of a commuter's lodging than a resort type setting, although it does have a swimming pool.
Keep in mind when you book this hotel, that a car will be very useful. You can get to the hotel by taking the Metro and having the hotel's van meet you at the Metro stop, but if going away from a Metro stop you will need 9a taxi. The hotel's van is readily available except after9 PM. If you have a car, the hotel is located just off an interstate ramp that will take you easily in all four directions. The hotel has a restaurant that is open for a few hours in the evening. Breakfast is included with the room. There is a variety of well presented breakfast foods. The rooms are standard with clean linens, lots of towels, and extra pillows. Room temperature is easily controlled and accurate. Our room had a flat screen TV with access to many channels. The beds were comfortable.
