“Good location and excellent value”

This hotel is in a good location to see both Alexandria, and also ride the Metro into DC. It is close to Interstate 495, so be sure you ask for a room AWAY from the Interstate and on Eisenhower Ave. There are several nice restaurants, a movie complex, and the Eisenhower St. Metro station a 5 minute walk away over the bridge. The price was very good, the parking FREE, and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was some confusion among the staff about breakfast being included with our room, and that is the only negative I can think of. Generally the staff was very pleasant and customer oriented, from the housekeepers to the front desk. We estimate we saved $130 for 2 nights over a similar property along King St, when the costs of rooms, breakfast, and parking were combined. It's too far to walk to King St from the hotel, so drive up there and park somewhere or take the Metro one stop for that. Then hop on the free trolley up and down King St. to see everything in Alexandria. Best food tip: Eat at Vaso's on Powhattan Ave. Worth the wait.

“Tech center hotel”

This is a very nice hotel with a very curtious staff. They have changed the roads around the hotel and it is difficult to get into the hotel using GPS. It is near the Metro and the curtesy van took us and picked us up from the Metro station. It is close to a number of restaurants and a movie theatre, but you need to drive or be taken. It is not within walking distance of anything. Breakfast is similar to a Starbucks, McDonalds, etc. They do not have waiters, but the food is good.

“Very nice hotel”

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel, very quite,and close to the metro station and they was a free shuttle bus to take customes back and forth to the metro station. The area was quite, if I decide to go back to Washington D. C. I will be back at the same hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was awesome and very cozy. For know on when I want to get away for the weekend I will be staying at this hotel.

“Cute place to stay outside of DC.”

The hotel was exactly as it was described. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Our room was cute, modern, and most importantly clean! They provide a great shuttle that takes you to the Metro (only a few blocks away), and it can also be used to take you to local attractions. We used it to also go to dinner in Alexandria. We were able to just park our car for our trip (they provide free parking) and just use their shuttle and the Metro. The one issue we had was the construction in the area of the hotel. This is something that the hotel can't control, but it did make it a little more difficult to physically get to the hotel from the highway. Overall, I would highly recommend the Courtyard. It is good for travelers looking for a place to stay outside of DC. We enjoyed it!

The hotel is clean, in a good area, although getting to it is a little difficult if you're not familiar with the area. The staff are helpful, and very nice. The breakfast is alright; basic buffet.

“Convienent to Metro”

This hotel is a great deal, especially if you're looking to avoid higher prices and parking fees of downtown DC hotels. The hotel itself is up to typical Marriott standards, and it is very convienently located to the Eisenhower Avenue Metro station (about a 5 minute walk), which is about a 5-10 minute ride into downtown DC. Parking is plentiful and free, although there isn't a whole lot to do near the hotel itself. There is a Cold Stone Creamery and movie theater near the Metro station, but other than that there isn't much entertainment in the neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again when traveling to DC.

Very nice hotel. Within walking distance of several eating establishments and the metro (although they provided shuttle service also). Would stay there again.
