“Good choice for DC business or touring”

The Crowne was easy to access 15th street and close to DCA for rental car return. Breakfast in the hotel was very good & I used the hotel shuttle service for dinners at King Street Blues and Ruth Chris. KSB has great tilapia. It's a short drive (10 to15 minutes) across to the monuments & memorials in DC. Arlington Cemetery or the Pentagon on this side of the river are also just minutes from this location. My room was well appointed and clean. Thanks Crowne, I'll stay again.

“Clean, Comfy, and Convient!”

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is litterally around the corner from the metro and ssandwhiched between two major roadways to find everything you need. The roms were big and clean and very comfy. I will be staying there again for all my dc trips!

Area recommendations

Make sure you visit all the historical/political sights. And go out to either U street or around 18th and Jefferson for night life!

“Perfect area, staf was very helpful, I felt very safe”

Overall experience was just the perfect place to be. Metro was close,stores, and restaruants were also at a very close/walking distance. I will definetely go back again. There are no negative commnets because my experience was excellent. I am extremely satisfied

Definetely Washington DC. After my business was completed, I was able to tour the city for 2 days, The capital is a a very short distance from hotel and I really enjoyed my self with no problems at all

“Best place I have stayed”

I have been to DC several times and this is by far the hotel I like the most. Easy access to Metro and dining and very clean place to stay. Close to the airport but not a noisy area.

Getting around

Metro is the easiest and best way to move around DC. You can get everywhere you need to go.

“Wonderful!”

I thought the hotel was amazing - from start to finish. Not only do they come pick you up at the airport but they'll drive you to any destination in Crystal City and in a very timely fashion. The front desk of the hotel also xeroxed documents for me and were genuinely friendly and curteous. The only problem I had was with one of the bar tenders on my last night but since everything else was outstanding, I shouldn't complain.

Area recommendations

I went for International Elder Abuse Awareness Day and would love to stay again.

Shopping

One of the problems that I had was that the city is inside. When I went to look for dining, food or drug store, I didn't know it was indoors but once I found it, I was fine. Even the stores were nice, the people who worked there very friendly that helped you find your way.

“Not impressed”

Pros: Decent rooms Great cleaning staff Friendly staff in restaurant Cons: Somewhat rude concierge Overpriced frozen foods (its very easy to tell nothing is actually prepared by them - I guess a pro would be that atleast the food is warm?) Nothing in the area For the rate that they charge, you can do much better. And you would actually be inside Washington, DC.

Area recommendations

I would recommend finding a place within Washington, DC. You get much better options on places to eat and there is much more going on outside arlington. Rosslyn is also quite nice.

“Nice hotel, convenient location.”

This hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and attentive and the location was very convenient - about a 5 minute walk from the metro.
