Shuttle to King Street a real plus

Great views of Potomac River, airplanes landing and cityscape. Nice staff with seamless check-in and check-out. Bigger than usual bathroom-Nice. Free shuttle was the best after great shopping and restaurants.

Just avoid

Haven't seen anything so dirty. The mattress was stained, blanket had yuck on it, carpet was dirty... Avoid

Very convenience location closing to old town, clean room with a good size of room. It is not common these days to charge for wireless connection.

Decent, but lacking in certain amenities

Nice and clean. My only issues were that free wifi was limited only to the lobby and was slow, no complimentary breakfast, and advertised complimentary shuttles to the metro/airport were only on hourly schedules.

Horrible Hotel..please go elsewhere

This has got to be the worst hotel stay I have had in the old town area. I travel for work, and tend to stay in old town Alexandria. This hotel is completely run down. The carpet in the room is full w/ stains. The sofa had stains all over. The bed was not made when i entered the room, which set of warning signals. I choose not to stay in the room, and leave. I was told I will not be reimbursed, even though i told them how unclean the room is, and that I would have to contact hotels.com directly to discuss this. I am very disappointed with this stay. I had to spend the next few hours checking into a new hotel, and completely threw off my work schedule. I hope Hotels.com makes this right, and refunds my payment for this room.

Lovely hotel in Alexandria

Pros: It was clean, quiet, polite and friendly.
Cons: I have no suggestions for improvement.
Location: Old Town, Alexandria is a tourist mecca. A historical city with things to see and do. A very friendly library staff if you are interested in History.
The hotel staff was wonderful, helpful and kind. I will stay there again in the Spring.

Nice hotel close to the airport.

Location: Not far from King St. the main drag through Old Town Alexandria. Lots of restaurants and shops and historical buildings.
Pleasant overnight stay. Only spent the night there to catch a flight the next morning. Did not have time to explore.
