“Good Digs, Good Value”

Nothing but positives about this hotel ... efficient, friendly check in, room was terrific, continental breakfast was, well, a typical continental breakfast -- no self-cook waffles, but I always think of that as a nice "extra" and was not disappointed. Quiet. Easy to find and access off Interstate, lots of convenience businesses, food, et. al. in the area, best price on gasoline is less than a mile to the west.

I was a little nervous about this Days Inn because of the bad reviews that I read about it, but they were wrong. This was a very nice place to stay. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The people who worked there were very nice and pleasant. This Day Inn is in a very convenient location and is well worth the money. I would stay at this hotel again in a heart beat. I was very happy that I made the decision to stay at this Days Inn and I'm sure you will too.

My only dissappointment was the check in. We had reservations a week in advance.. Called earlier on the day of arrival to let the hotel know we would be checking in late, between 11 pm and midnight. When we arrived, I was turned off by the vestibule check in counter. I guess this is supposed to be for safety reasons but it did make me nervouse on what our room would look like. Also, there was 5 families waiting on line. It took too long to move through the process. Perhaps they need another counter person during peak seasons-especially at night when people are arriving cranky and tired. Otherwise....The room looked super clean, didnt smell funny, above all...the beds were extrememly comfy-slept like a baby. It looks like the rooms were freshly painted and well maintained..not old or outdated. The price was great... I almost felt like i got a little more than i paid for...which is hard to come by theses days :) All in all....very happy- inexpensive, clean, neat, and comfortable

We we arrived I immediately checked for potential bedbugs, as I always do at hotels. I found none. However, during my search I discovered that there was trash (candy wrappers and hair accessories) stuff behind the mattresses at the head of the bed. There was also small pieces of trash around the bedside table and a cardboard box stuffed underneath. The opened areas of the floor looked clean, but closer to the furniture was not vacuumed well. While I was not pleased with the cleanliness of the room, I was grateful for the service. The front desk was more than willing to help us with the typical extra towels, but did not have extra sheets for us to use during the night when my young son had an accident on the cot mattress. We were able to use the sheets from the other bed, and the front desk was more than willing to help with removing the sheets from the room, but we did not have extra sheets in the case of another accident. The next day the maid-service was willing to give us an extra set just in case for the following night. Overall, I would probably not stay in this hotel again as it was not cleaned properly to start with, but I the service was polite and friendly which made a frustrating situation less upsetting.

This Day’s Inn is great for what it is – a comfortable bed to sleep in and a clean room to rest. If you are accustomed to staying in upscale hotels and really need amenities like lots of marble and fresh flowers, then click the back button and look for a place with triple the room rate. If not, make your reservation and enjoy a cheep sleep!

“Average hotel but surprisingly comfortable stay.”

Average hotel but surprisingly better than expected. After a rough check - in the room was decent. Clean, comfortable bed, shower was refreshing and the tv worked good. I would stay here again when stopping over on our trip from Pa to NC. Only thing I wish they would change is there was no mini refrigerator in the room and the pillows were pretty cheap.
