“Short but very pleasant stay”
Staffs were extremely friendly and cooperative. Went for a short trip, but fealt like staying few more days.
“Good price! Good qulity!”
I like Econo Lodge Fairfax . Room is clean & comfortable, also easy conneciton to highway.
“EconoLodge, Fairfax”
Clean. Staff very helpful and attentive.
“Basic, but comfortable”
This is not the place to stay if you are looking for a lot of amenities. However, if you want a clean, safe place to sleep at a reasonable price, then this will fit the bill. I did have to ask how to make the shower work and I had to borrow a hair dryer. Beyond that, the accomodations were all we needed.
“It wasn't bad!!”
I got for what I paid. It wasn't bad. No fridge. Clean bathroom but the door can't be closed.
“2-day stay at Econo Lodge Fairfax”
I had a pleasant experience no complaints. The hotel was accommodating of my requests.
“Econo Lodge in Fairfax, VA”
I was very pleased with the location and felt quite safe walking from the Metro station to the hotel which about 1 mile. My initial and final contact with the hotel staff was very pleasant. The cleanliness of the room was OK with a few spots in the bathroom that were missed during cleaning. The breakfast was very, very basic but at least there was something to eat. The price was a bit high for what you get but I guess its the Washington DC area that sets the price. Overall, I have been in better hotels for the same price but I've been in worse.
“Value for the Money”
Econolodge is just what the name implies. It is economical. Therefore you shouldn't expect a lot of amenities. When you are travelling all day and tired, all you really need is a clean, quiet place to sleep. This was provided here and the price was good.
“Would not return.”
We were not impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. The first one we were given had obviously been a smoking room at one time and was dark and dreary. The second one was better in both respects, although still not as clean as expected. The staff was not very knowledgeable concerning the restaurants available in the surrounding area and we ended up walking further than we expected. Also, we had been looking forward to enjoying some time in the pool as it was extremely hot, and were very disappointed to discover that the pool was not operational and the area surrounding it was filled with construction material.
“Best budget hotel in the Area.”
I travel to Fairfax for work several times a year and this hotel is the best deal in the area. The rooms are clean and other guests are quiet. This hotel is the best thing going for the price. This is not a hotel with a lot of amenities, if you are going to spend a lot time at your hotel and your budget allows I would go nicer; if you want an inexpensive, basic room that is safe, clean and you won't risk bed bugs, you can't do better.
