“Good place to stay within $20 cab ride into heart of DC”

Hotel was exactly what we wanted with one exception....thin windows. The noise from freeway made ua check to see if we left windows opened. Otherwise like any other Embassy Suites we stayed at many times before...good hotels.

the embassy suites , crystal city was the best. i would recommend this location and site to anyone traveling to the d.c. / virginia area.......the free breakfast buffet and happy hour were great to help budget your expenses and trip, and the shuttle service not only from the airport, but also around the city to all the shops, malls and attractions were a great help as well in giving you the option to rent a vehicle or not. the rooms were clean and spacious for your comfort with nice flat screen television viewing in both the bedroom and lounging room area making saturday and sunday football a blast.....i had a great time in the d.c. and virginia area and it was all in a large part due to the embassy suites /crystal city....they truly made my weekend and i will never pinch pennies again with my travel hotel lodging. from here forward it will always be the embassy for me catching the best rates through expedia....great job all.

the chesapeeke seafood market if you are a seafood lover....wow, so many stands with fresh seafood for purchase and steamed on site.....also chevy's a great mexican restaurant for the mexican food lovers...their menu is awesome...

“Loved the hotel and staff”

We were very happy with the exceptional service and friendliness of the staff. We will absolutely stay there again and have already told our friends and family about the wonderful value of this deal! The shuttle service made it easy for us to leave our car parked and go every where; airport, metro, restaurants. The breakfast and happy hour were way above our expectations. Thank you Embassy Suites and Expedia.

Family-friendly activities
Mount Vernon is a must see. It has been redone and has a great new Visitor Center and many new ways to learn and enjoy.

“Unbelievable service”

This hotel was amazing. I had spent two days at a Marriott and paid twice as much without the free breakfast. The Embassy Suites not only provided a comfortable room but free shuttle service to the metro. Then at night they took us to the restaurant of our choice for free!! The service was exceptional and the people were very friendly. I am sold.

“Perfect location....”

Fabulous hotel...within walking distance of many good restaurants, mall and other activities. Within 20 to 30 minutes of most major attractions.

“extremely satisfied”

The staff was very friendly and always there to assist with any qustions upi had whether it be about the metro or places to eat. The room was clean and beds comfortable. The view from our room was of the Washington Monument and Roosevelt Monument. (room1011). The breakfast in the morning was awesome. I was ready for cereal and waffles but the buffet consisted of hashbrown, scrambled eggs, bacon,breakfat links, made to order omelets, hot oatmeal,muffins,bagels. The manager buffet at night was very nice. We had chips and nacho cheese, cheese and crackers, and beer and wine. Courtesy shuttle from airport to hotel and restaurants was added bonus. Metro was 2 blocks away. I was extremely satisfied with the hotel and would definetly stay their again.

All our time was spent in Washington DC.
Getting around
Metro system was the way to go. It took a short time to catch on and all you had to do was ask anyone with a questions. Everyone was so helpful/friendly to answer your questions.
Must see
Korean war memorial was my favorite with the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier following a close 2nd. Otherwise all the monuments, and museums Washington has to offer is a must see. We just a long weekend and could not get in everything we wantes to see. Capitol tour was also very insightful

“Great room and helpful staff”

We loved our spacious suite. The Internet access was a bit pricey and slow, but the room was great, the free breakfast was plentiful and good, the staff was so helpful and accommodating, I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Great location so close to shopping and the Metro in Crystal City, as well as restaurants.

“great for family vacation”

this hotel was very clean, and family friendly. the breakfast was excellant as well as the hotel staff very helpful and friendly. shuttle takes you to the metro. I would definately stay again.
