“Don't judge a hotel by it's exterior...this was a wonderfu stay!”

When I saw the outside of the hotel, I was feeling anxious. But once we check entered the lobby and began the check in process, that feeling turned to warmth. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and accomodating. They offer a full breakfast with everything you could imagine. The rooms and common areas were extremely clean and the pools; both indoor and out were clean and refreshing. We loved it and look forward to returning.

Dining

Ford's Fish Shack was simply superb. Aneda's Mexican Restaurant was also wonderful The Chicken wing restaurant near the hotel (black and yellow awnings) sorry, can't remember the name....it was horrible-period. Nice waitress, but the worst food I have ever had in a restaurant.

“Not impressed, restaurant staff were rude”

The restaurant staff were rude to us when we told them that we are not eating pork and if they could arrange something else for us. They told us to eat what is there, and we could only eat cereals and fruits, and that was not value for money.

“Embassy Suites”

I love the Embassy Suites. The happy hour is always nice. I had a weekend trip and was able to keep my car there for the weekend. I took the airport shuttle back to my car upon my return. It was so convienent.

“Secound Timer and will come again”

Sent timely Courtesy Van to airport took to hotel. With friendly greeting and reminder of COMPLIMENTARY happy hour every evening of food and full bar and COMPLIMENTARY full breakfast with cook to order eggs. Two room suites very nice and extremely clean. All staff extremely friendly.

Area recommendations

To See Washington DC and Walk the National Mall Area from Capital to Lincoln Memmorial. Take Shuttle to airport at about 9 AM then at airport catch the 5A bus across Patomic to the corner of 12th and D Street. Then walk the two block to the Smithsonian and another block and your walking on the National Mall Area. Then when finished you'll want to walking back down one block beyond where you got off the bus at and there willbe reurn bus stop 5A to take you back to the airport. Just before you arive at airport be sure to call hotel for shuttle and you will be picked up shortly after arriving at airport.

“Great Experience”

Considering they have a full breakfast with cook to order eggs and a fantastic happy hour all included for the price, our family had a great time staying at this hotel.
