“not exactly 3 stars”

I opted for the expedia deal where they choose the hotel based on it being a "3 star in Chantilly" but was very disappointed. It said that they serve breakfast and basically, they put out a few apples and prepackaged muffins with not even 1 table to sit at. It also advertised internet but don't mention that they charge $5 for it. The code is "dc2l" so you don't have to pay the $5. gym consist of one treadmill, one elliptical and one stationary bike next to the washers/dryers in the laundry room. Even though it was relatively inexpensive, it was not worth it.

“Good for one night”

I stayed one night in a non smoking room and I got that. Room was relatively clean but the bed sheets wasn't clean or even changed. the same applies for the pillow covers. Bathroom was OK and for one night stay for me, was good

“We won't be staying here again”

When we checked in, there was no suite for the six of us, even though we booked a suite, so we had to have two rooms far apart from each other. While we waited at the front desk for the mess to be sorted out, the manager was lambasting the (nice) lady working behind the desk for some reason or another - very unprofessional and very uncomfortable for me and my children. And the "free breakfast" is a farce - pre-packaged bagels and muffins if you're lucky and they're not gone, and nothing at all on weekends. Overall, not impressed.

“Good for business travel”

Staff was familiar with area, oriented towards business travelers; near govt/defense technology corridor. However, no business center, though Kinkos nearby.

Area recommendations

In the middle of nowhere and need to drive to DC for food and nightlife. More for airport or convention/govt travelers.

“Never Again”

“Wilson”

The room was ok. There is even a small kitchen. I really didn't like the bed. It was too small, unstable and noisy. Me and my wife arrived there very late and there was nobody on the frontdesk. We had to wait some time to check in and the hotel staff person was very rude.

“Not a great hotel”

Checking in was a long and slow process puncuated by sign here initial here even thought the room was prepaid using Expedia. The building and the rooms were cheap. Room was reasonably inexpensive which is why I selected it for a one night stay. At check out there were three of four people in the very tiny lobby alos wanting to check out. i took my belongings out to the car. when I returned to the lobby some of the same people were still there. No sign of hotel staff, anywhere. The continental breakfast consisted of coffee and vending machine packaged muffin. All in al it was disappointing but not over-priced. I will surely not stay there again.

“Disappointed in Chantilly”

1. We had to clean our rooms and replace out towels. Not informed until check-in. 2. The floor was badly stained, and had to ask for the staff to clean the carpet. 3. No blankets for the sofa bed, no extra pillows. 4. Poor condition of the hotel and rooms. 5. Several pots/pans were burnt and poor condition. 6 Outside grill was inoperative. 7. In room A/C and old thermostat caused temperatures to fluctuate wildly during night. 8. Pool did not open until 2pm and closed at 8pm. Children were not happy. 9. Staff complained openly complained about Hotel chain management refusing to make repairs/upgrades, and downgrading ammenities.

“This was deceptive advertising, for instance "breakfast" consisted of 7-11 types of packaged food.”

I was looking for a place with free internet and breakfast, but this place had neither. The amount charged was outrageous considering what we get for he money.
