“Always Comfortable...”

I live local with a rowdy house, some weekends when I have events I stay here to get a quiet night's rest. The staff is always extremely friendly and attentive. The only real issue you will run into here is if your neighbors use their hotel room as a revolving door- my neighbors were in and out of their room every 15 minutes, it seemed. I stay here at least once every three months, and I keep coming back! As close to "home" as you're going to get without being there! Highly recommended!

“A must stay!”

Awesome hotel, especially for the price! I was only able to stay for night, but that was long enough to say that I was impressed. Big room with a king-sized bed and fold-out couch, nice flat-screen TV, kitchen with stove and full-size fridge. Maybe I'm a guy who doesn't expect much from hotel rooms, but for sure, I wasn't expecting any of that! My only gripe was that the hotel didn't show up on my GPS, but that's so minor. Just make sure to write the address down, and don't rely on the "send address to my GPS" function on mapquest. I hate that I didn't get to take advantage of the fitness room/basketball court/pool, but that wasn't my last stay there. Even though it's a good 20 miles from D.C., I'll definitely be staying here again.

“Awesome place”

Very cozy and clean place. A comfortable bed, plasma with connection to the computer. Kitchenette equipped with plates and cutlery. Fridge with ice shaver. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Free parking space.

When to go

To get to Washington is best to leave car at one of the Orange Line subway station "Park and Ride" and explore the city using public transport. Parking is free on weekends. In weekdays you have to buy Trip Card.

“Shuttle service stinks!”

Offered free shuttle. They did not tell you that it can take an hour to get picked up from your location. Also did not mention that shuttles don't start until 7 am. I had to get a taxi several times because of long waits and needed to be at the airport by 6 am. Very disappointed with their shuttle service. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Close to some shopping. Was difficult to get to the downtown DC area (took 2 hrs by train/busses).

Area recommendations

Some where closer to the Vienna train station if you are wanting to go to the downtown Washington DC area.

“Excellent!”

2 Bedrooms, 2 full baths, 3 king size beds, 3 LCD TVs, close to Reston and it is really cheap on weekends. We usually use this hotel on our trips to South Carolina (from Massachusetts).

“Very good stay”

Stayed there one night. But it was so nice we stayed there a second night. Our first night was booked through Expedia and we got a very good rate. When we decided to stay the seconf night, they said we couldn't get the same cheap rate we had since we booked through this thrid party. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of going online again. He gave me a price, it was not as cheap but still good. I said OK, but then he gave me a lower rate still. So the second night was only $14.75 more than the first. I thought that was fair. The room was much better than we expected. It had a kitchen, nice bonus. Very nice continetal breakfast. Other guests there were business travelers who liked it enough to come back often. My one complaint is the same for ALL hotels. I do not like the same stupid shower control that they have. The kind where as you turn it, the tempurature increases but you can't adjust the amount of water. Why can't they give us the kind with a flow adjustment we have in real houses?

Area recommendations

The second Air and Space Museum near Dulles Airport as well as the main one in Washington DC. Also a few miles south in Chantilly Va. is a Mexican/Salvadorian resturaunt, Two Amigos. It must be good since all the other patrons there were latin. A nice family run business. And I don't even like Mexican food.

When to go

Visit the Dulles Air and Space Museum after 4:00 if you want to save the $15 parking.

“Always a pleasure...”

I stay at a hotel at least once a month to get some peace and quiet, and I find myself constantly coming back to this one. The staff is super friendly and informative, the rooms are comfortable and homey, and the surrounding area is amicable to travelers.

“Disappointed”

Room was dirty....left over razors, tissues and a dsitinct odor of B.O. Is this a "one hour" hotel??

“FAIRLY DECENT - GOOD STAY”

Hotel was pretty good. Breakfast is okay. Not the greatest food but it is a big breakfast and for sure it will save you money. The rooms are well equipped, we were five people and they gave us a two bedroom suite with king size beds. Every room had a nice tv and a big bathroom. There was also a sofa bed in the living room. For some reason beds did not feel so comfortable. I personally like hard mattresses and these beds were too soft for my taste. As far as the location you need to know that this hotels is a bit far from washington DC, we rented a car and to get to all the attractions it took us about 30 minutes driving. I did not take the metro, perhaps that would be easier in order to move around. It is located in a good area and there are some restaurants around. Overall it was a good stay and very good service. My only drawback was the location, I wish I would have stayed closer to DC.
