Nice staff but don't depend on shuttle

The staff was very nice and the room both spacious and comfortable. IMPORTANT NOTE-The shuttle does not begin running until 5 am!!! It stops running at midnight If you have an early flight or late arrival, factor in the cost of a taxi to/from the airport into your room rate. Might not be such a good deal.

Early Flight

Pros: Clean, comfortable, convenient to airport
Location: Airport super close and easy to get to.
We just needed a place to stay since we had an early flight the next morning. What a wonderful surprise. It was elegant, comfortable, great bed, shower, everything!

ホテルにはキッチン、アイロン、ソファー何でもついています。 シャワーも海外ドラマのような頭上から垂れ流すタイプ。 朝食のバッフェは野菜こそ少ない?無い?もののフルール盛りだくさんで言う事はありません。 フロントのべっティーさんがとても親切です。 空港までの送迎無料のシャトルバスを毎日使って そこから10分のスミソニアン別館で スペースシャトルやB29が見えます。 アジア系は渡していませんでしたが 西洋人は思い荷物一つにつき$3-渡していて 荷物がある時だけチップを渡してあげてるのが マナーのようです。 とにかく部屋は広く、24時間のジムやランドリーがあります。 中心部まで空港から1時間かかりますが 空港からは本当に近く、清潔なので お勧めです。

The best hotel for your mony

I am been traveling to all over the world but the check in and check out is always the same 4 and 11 .BUT this hotel will give you 3-12 and belive me that is big think plus breakfast time was 1 hour extra to, the breakfast was unbelievable good .The hotel was nice clean and quit .

Excellent Hotel for Everyone!

Pros: Everything Amazing Staff Location Free Breakfast
Location: Fairly Close to Washington D.C. (35 mins) 3 different Premium Outlets Nearby
Booked two nights at the hyatt house for me and my partners trip to Washington D.C., which is only 35 mins for the hotels location!! I read all expedia reviews and thought lets try this place out. Boy was I glad I did the staff was very friendly they greeted me the minute I walked in! When we entered our room I was amazed at the beautifully modern decor and and kitchen we had with a full size refrigerator which is great for those trying to save money by eating out less. Since we checked in late I called the front desk for menus of local restaurants that can deliver to this hotel it was brought up right away and I had my meals delivered within 30 minutes. Having the full breakfast for free was another plus ! a great selection of eggs, sausage, different breads, danishes,etc, and the made to order omelet station. We were super sad to have to leave but will definitely rebook here for our future trips to D.C. and other surrounding areas!!!!

great hotel deal with breakfast

I am and will continue to be a repeat customer at the Hyatt House. We have family in Sterling Virginia and this seems to be one of the best values in the area.the rooms are large the beds are comfy and the free breakfast is amazing. Adding an indoor hot tub would be a nice perk.

Terrible Staff: three trips from 5th floor to Front desk just for check-in!! 1st time, none of keys work for our room. 2nd trip, the same person from front desk gave us another set of keys to try. Keys work for a different room we don't like. We called front desk and ask for working keys for our original room. 3rd trip, he asked us down to front desk again for our room keys and fond out that by his mistake, our room was already occupied at first place! We're too tired to deal with it as a family with toddler after 6-hour flight. The night before check-out, we can't print out our boarding pass at their business center. The problem with their staff is she took this matter very defensively:"I'm not computer expert... This's your own issue since I can print out our homepage..." But at the same minute, three people tried all of their computers and printers from three different airlines, SouthWest, Vergin America and ... None of us can print out our boarding passes. This's the first hotel I can't print out boarding pass and their staff don't think it's a urgent problem.
