Excellent Hotel for Everyone!

Pros: Everything Amazing Staff Location Free Breakfast
Location: Fairly Close to Washington D.C. (35 mins) 3 different Premium Outlets Nearby
Booked two nights at the hyatt house for me and my partners trip to Washington D.C., which is only 35 mins for the hotels location!! I read all expedia reviews and thought lets try this place out. Boy was I glad I did the staff was very friendly they greeted me the minute I walked in! When we entered our room I was amazed at the beautifully modern decor and and kitchen we had with a full size refrigerator which is great for those trying to save money by eating out less. Since we checked in late I called the front desk for menus of local restaurants that can deliver to this hotel it was brought up right away and I had my meals delivered within 30 minutes. Having the full breakfast for free was another plus ! a great selection of eggs, sausage, different breads, danishes,etc, and the made to order omelet station. We were super sad to have to leave but will definitely rebook here for our future trips to D.C. and other surrounding areas!!!!

great hotel deal with breakfast

I am and will continue to be a repeat customer at the Hyatt House. We have family in Sterling Virginia and this seems to be one of the best values in the area.the rooms are large the beds are comfy and the free breakfast is amazing. Adding an indoor hot tub would be a nice perk.

Terrible Staff: three trips from 5th floor to Front desk just for check-in!! 1st time, none of keys work for our room. 2nd trip, the same person from front desk gave us another set of keys to try. Keys work for a different room we don't like. We called front desk and ask for working keys for our original room. 3rd trip, he asked us down to front desk again for our room keys and fond out that by his mistake, our room was already occupied at first place! We're too tired to deal with it as a family with toddler after 6-hour flight. The night before check-out, we can't print out our boarding pass at their business center. The problem with their staff is she took this matter very defensively:"I'm not computer expert... This's your own issue since I can print out our homepage..." But at the same minute, three people tried all of their computers and printers from three different airlines, SouthWest, Vergin America and ... None of us can print out our boarding passes. This's the first hotel I can't print out boarding pass and their staff don't think it's a urgent problem.

Really enjoyed our stay! The room was gorgeous and clean! The complimentary breakfast included an omelet station which we really enjoyed!

Une chambre superbe, confortable... Bref, je ne peux faire que des éloges sur notre nuit. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Le service est de qualité dans l'ensemble. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter!

Big, Nice, Clean and Comfy

Cons: Hmmm...put the toasters in a more convenient place at the breakfast buffet?
Location: 15 min from a train. Drive on into DC if its the weekend, and save the train cash.
Check in: Excellent Room: Beds comfortable, clean, climate control was awesome, large, full kitchen, full refrigerator, DISHWASHER, stovetop, coffeemaker, wow! For 84.99 a night. Exceptional! Took a half hour to drive to the city, but other than that, a wonderful property. Room faced the freeway, but no noise. Breakfast bar was good, not great...but very adequate. Free paper. 4 adult men / battlefield tourists shared the space...47 bucks apiece after two nights! I can't say enough about this place. Book with confidence.

Strategically placed, great breakfast

Cons: Omelet station was a tad overrun at busy breakfast times.
We stayed in the hotel with our two kids for one week. A baby bed was available. The room was large enough, the bathroom was huge. In fact, we used the bathroom to watch movies while the kids were sleeping. The complimentory breakfast buffet was rich and fresh, I especially loved the cooked-to-order omelets. WiFi signal was strong and bandwidth was high.
