“Good for students on a budget”
As a student traveling to Fairfax to attend a local conference at George Mason University, this hotel was a good choice! The FREE breakfast included hot and cold items such as eggs, oatmeal, waffles, cereal, yogurt, and assorted pastries and was pretty good for the price.
The hotel was undergoing renovations while I stayed, but the noisy work was limited to the hours of 10am-5pm and I was never bothered by it. The renovations that were done are really fantastic, and the rooms looked great! They were clean and the front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly.
The only complaint I had is that the "double beds" were not true double beds, more like oversized twins, which made it a bit tricky to accommodate four of us in one room. As students trying to save money by putting 4 to a room instead of two, it was a bit cozy in the beds but there was plenty of floor room to spread out, especially considering we all traveled with instruments!
Overall a very good deal and promises to be quite lovely once remodeling is finished!
