“Basically a good accomodation”
Hampton front desk personnel are excellent.
“Good, inexpensive hotel”
Was in Fairfax for conference and chose Hampton because it was less expensive and reliable. Room and bed were great.
“Great Hotel!”
This hotel is very nice, and clean. The desk staff are EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. There were a couple signs of wear, (a water stain on the ceiling, and some bubbling paint in the bathroom) but overall it was a great place to stay. Only a few minutes drive from Dulles airport (no shuttle service though) and walking distance to Fairfax County Jail. (seriously if you are flying in to visit someone, which I was) The breakfast was decent and there is a small restaurant next door as well as a 7-ll.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn in Fairfax. The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. I'm not in this area very often but I would definitely stay here again if/when I return!

We have stayed in this Hampton Inn Fairfax City 4 times and find it to be very nice. The staff is good, the rooms clean, breakfast is more than adequate, and the hotel is well maintained.
“Comfy bed, lingering odors...”
The rooms at Hampton Inns - Fairfax were well appointed and overly spacious. The service was prompt and friendly and the overall state of the space was welcoming and inviting. I had a king room, an end unit, on the first floor. Located just down the hall from the business center and workout facility - the noise from these 'hot spots' created a bit of a distraction in the room. Additionally, my room smelled like small dogs...turning what could have been a good experience into a less than memorable one. A nice hotel, just make sure you check the smell before signing off on your room!
