“I would definitely go back!”
It was a very pleasant experience. I will definitely go back.
“I love NOVA”
Great hotel in a great location. A few hundred feet from the King Street Metro Blue Line. Expedia rate is the way to go.
“Great location!”
Great location. Just love Old Town - always have a great time. And the convenient location of this hotel to the Metro and ease of going into DC was great!!
“Good overall”
Very friendly staff, good service. Overall value was average. Location was pretty good if you want to be in Old Town and have Metro access. The rooms were pretty standard - nothing extraordinary. Comfortable beds, nice TV. Having the restaurant and bar helped - but it closes before midnight.
“GW Parents Weekend 2011”
I love this hotel! Three reasons: 1. Reasonable raites, Clean room and comfortable beds 2. Proximity to Old Town, airport and Metro (and therefore rest of DC) 3. Service above and beyond expectations and here is an example... we were through security at Reagan Airport heading back to Boston when my husband realized he didn't have the car keys to our car sitting in the Boston parking lot at Logan airport. After quickly considering our options, I called the hotel to see if anyone had turned them in. They hadn't but the kind desk clerk said she would send someone to the room to check and call me right back. I ran back through security, out to the metro platform where thankfully a blue train was just pulling in, and received a call back from the hotel as I was boarding the train. They found our keys in the room and they were now at the front desk. I race out of the king st station to the hotel (just across the street), glancing at the sign indicating next inbound train ( 9 minutes) and figured I had a chance! Sure enough, the keys were at the desk! I thanked the desk clerk profusely, ran to the station, waited one minute for the train, and made it through security. 36 minutes start to finish. Thank you Hilton for saving our trip (and our marriage!!!)
“Great location!!”
This was the perfect location for our DC/Alexandria visit. The Metro is just in front of the hotel, which was perfect with our two smallest guests, 7 yr and 2 yr. We could quickly be in the city, with very little walking. The King Street trolly stop is also in front of the hotel, so we could jump on and explore the city.
“Staff was very helpful and restaurant was excellent.”
Great location, nice hotel, friendly staff. Will definitely go back.
“Very impressed”
This was one the best hotels that I have stayed in DC area. It is reasonably cheap and location is great: just next to metro station and there are tons of restaurants/cafe/bars around the hotel. Hotel is clean and service was very good.
“Nice Hotel”
The hotel was pleasant. Upon arrival we walked to the front desk and were greeted promptly. The one thing I was unimpressed with is the charge for parking. I did not see that anywhere listed on expedia. The room was comfortable, and quite a few amenities provided. It was close to Old Town, but only in walking distance if you had comfortable shoes. There was a sedan that could bring you to the waterfront, and that worked out to be about double the cost of a local taxi. I would stay there again, just beware of the small charges that will nickel and dime you.
“Excellent choice”
This hotel made our Washington vacation even better. It is so close to the Metro we barely had to leave the lobby. Alexandria is charming...so many restaurants to choose from, and all within easy walking distance. Our room was very comfortable, and all of the Hilton staff were friendly, helpful, and more than willing to provide assistance or information. We would definitely go back!
