Very comfortable hotel, great location right next to numerous restaraunts in the Shirlington area. Would most definitely stay there again

This was a very nice expereince in DC. The staff was friendly and neat in window was not appealing but we were not there for the view. appearance. The lobby and restaurant area was very clean. Our room was clean. This is new hotel and I hope it stays as nice in the future as it is now.

“Hidden Gem”

Very surprised at the quality of the hotel. Staff very helpful. Hotel shuttle to airport, metro and 5 mile radius which cover Arlington Cementery excellent. When driving, a little hard to find due to the hodge podge freeway system. Location has 8 or 9 quality eating places with in two blocks. We definately will stay there again when in DC area

Please note the opening comments about the superior front desk staff. The hotel van was readily available to take us to the Metro and came promptly to pick us up. The room was spacious and clean. The mattresses were a bit hard but not uncomfortable. The area around the hotel was delightful! Lots of restaurants and shops in a "small town square" feel. One Italian restaurant, however, was a huge disappointment--very overpriced for the quality, taste, and quantity and pompous waiters. The other places we ate were excellent. I would stay there again!

We loved the hotel and our room. The breakfast was delicious. Within two beautiful blocks were a library, a grocery store, a movie complex, several restaurants (American, Indian, Italian, Chinese, and more), and other smaller stores. The area was so new that our GPS system didn't have the street yet so we got lost a couple of times. Best to follow the hotel's directions. The free shuttle was a little inconvenient. We ended up waiting 30 minutes each way. So I would recommend driving into the DC. Overall we loved the hotel and would definitely go back!

“exceptional hotel”

I got lost on the way there but the front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. the hotel itself was very attractive and well laid out, we were very impressed. The surprising part of this location is that it is a hub for a new trendy community, everything you could think of is just a short walk from the hotel, shops, restaurants,grocery store. there is something for every taste and the bonus comes in when you want to go to dc because they have a shuttle bus that takes you to and from the metro.I come to dc annually for rolling thunder and this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at and it is only 4 miles from the pentagon staging area. the staff were professional and always courteous I will be making plans to return next year.

“Arlington D.C.”

Hotel location was great! Situated in a mod little village... nice perk having a market across the street. Ate dinner at Aroma's ~ excellent Indian cuisine. Dined also at Guapo's ~ middle of the road Mexican food, nothing spectacular but tasty. Last night of our stay we ate at Capital City Grill and the food again was tasty, what one could expect from a burger and brew restaurant. Hotel accommodations very comfortable, and clean. I really had no problems with our stay, however.....arriving in in the evening, the hotel shuttle took over an hour to arrive at the airport after being repeatedly assured it was on the way. We kept seeing other hotel shuttles go by for other area hotels. When we checked in, the evening front desk did not inform us when breakfast ended, nor that we had sleep number beds. We found that out at checkout! The breakfast restaurant staff were awesome, very considerate and gave us great service despite arriving after breakfast ended. It would've been nice if we could've used the hot tub after walking all day long in D.C., but that closed at 5 pm too, due to some law of having to have a lifeguard present in the pool room. But despite those little things.....I still give them 2 thumbs up and would stay there again!

Theater, shopping, restaurants, walkability.. Shirlington has it all and it is located just minutes from Washington, DC. Hotel shuttle to metro subway- a breeze!
